Ryan's second was harsh plain and simple and only given because Andre had forgot he had booked him in the first half. Eyes on the ball and Rose got there just before. Foul yes, a good ref would have reminded him he was on a yellow and give him final warning. Sadly we had a clown in charge.

If he does he can pretty much kiss goodbye to another job. Stay and keep us up is the best for all parties I'm hoping this very point isn't the reason the powers that be think they could tighten the purse strings further without him kicking off. Hadn't considered that - bullocks there goes the optimism. Strap in its gonna be a bumpy ride

And? Financial constraints aside what are people's reasons for not renewing seriously. Or do we have a number of season ticket holders who have them to watch top flight footie rather than to watch Stoke.

I think I might be the only person in the world that actually thinks it may have been the right decision. The ball was aiming for the forward that was in an offside position and he had to move out of the way so he didn't block the shot. If that is not interfering with play then I don't know what is. Definitely not can't see what all the fuss is about - moved out of the way of the ball in an offside position - if that's not active don't know what is

He's got a fair point - we weren't the only club to play 2 away games. Something doesn't sit right when your opening day and closing day games are away as are both Christmas fixtures

About where we should be for a transition season. Played some great stuff some shocking stuff and a chunk of mediocre stuff. Squad needs strengthening but can see us doing okay second half of the season with a few select additions in Jan.

Were there some very obvious missed chances that I've forgotten from the first half? I can think of Walters' 'shot' that went out for a throw-in and maybe that corner that came of Ryan's knee? The Walters one was 50/50 however Shawcross should have done better definitely. I'd say that at the time going in 3-1 would have been a fair reflection. After the second half getting beaten 3-4 would have been as fair also. H To concede 4 today would have required them to hit the target 4 times - we could still be playing now and they wouldn't have got close to that, very poor side

Poorest side to visit the Brit this season, rarely threatened. For the best defence in the league created plenty of chances shame about the finishing.

For a team that dominated from start to finish how come Bego had nothing to do all afternoon. I can't recall a single time he was called into action after the first 13 seconds. For a side that was high on confidence they were the poorest side to visit the Brit so far this season. More clinical finishing we would have seen us take a well deserved 3 points, but then footie is all about opinions.

Surely we have to see something like this next week
Bego
Cameron - Ryan - Huth - Pieters
Pennant - Ireland - Whelan / Wilson Assiadi
Arnie - Crouch / KJ

It maybe that folk aren't that keen on a relegation battle - which seems to be all Martinez can manage. If he was that good a manager he would have learnt how to sort out a defence by now, but sadly not. Not a good choice in my book

Not for me - she despised football fans and rousing chorus of ding dong the witch is dead would be far more apt

Got a lot of time for Martinez, good bloke and good manager, irrespective of views on Pulis!! Destined for big things as a manager i'd say. Flatters to deceive finds himself in a relegation battle every season not sure. Honestly don't understand all the hype myself

So we have lost the joint lowest number of games (10) at this point and also taken points from the joint highest number of games (20) - gotta love statistics

The problem is we stopped being us after the Everton game. The high tempo in your face play has gone and the evolution has halted due to team selection. Whelan is a shadow of the player he was in the ten game unbeaten run and should be nowhere near the side come satdee. Need to go back to two proper wingers two up top and launch it into the channels - but I fear a safety first approach will only see us stay up because of others failings

It's seems since the outcry over the Fellani incidents we have stepped back from being in the oppositions faces. Resulting in what helped us get to where we now being much less affective. Sadly this hasn't been replaced by anything leaving us with the current run of results. Time to go back to the basics that worked so well on Boxing Day if you ask me. Simple effective footie played at our hasselling high tempo best - bring on the Toon.

Shea looked off the pace a bit but showed enough to look like a decent signing. Shotton had a decent game at RB - don't understand Cameron ahead of Adam. Crouch was to isolated - could have been much different if Walters had buried the spot kick

Seems a case of the home side having the advantage to me - Swansea were clueless at the Brit earlier in the season easiest 90 minutes we've had so far

Another bad day at the office for too many against a side that has by far and away been the most inept at the Brit in the last two seasons - shakes head and walks away
