Hard to disagree. They offered absolutely nothing. Like literally..absolutely NOTHING until the last 10 minutes when the game was gone.

They were very very poor but their manager thinks they deserved at least a draw LAUGHABLE.

Yet we were just hanging on at the end, to preserve our lead.

ever played since we have been back in the premiership, discuss.. Smudge was making exactly the same point at half time JSU, inviting us to suggest a team that had been worse. Not one (of the six of us) could think of an answer.

I don't think they were quite as bad as Blackburn at home last season.

They were absolutely dire. I was expecting them to be buzzing and really test us.
God knows, we were average, but they just looked clumsy and unambitious all over the pitch. Pogrebnyak was a joke.

Norwich last season have that award from me. Bloody awful they were. Reading just weren't bad enough, still fucking atrocious though.

Truly terrible, a blessing really as we weren't much better. Sitting near to their fans made me nauseous - feeble attempts at singing, zero originality, zero passion, and clapping along to every f*cking song. It was like they had been to some really poor 'fan college' to learn how to be a 21st century football fan. Surprised they didn't bring a drummer and all have big foam hands.

Not one (of the six of us) could think of an answer. We said the same, Paul. Had we had any sort of cutting edge in the first half we'd have buried them by a very un-Stoke like scoreline.

I'd like to give a call out to the Liverpool side we hosted on Boxing Day - and we gave them a goal start FFS!

I think Swansea deserve an honourable mention too. Two years in a row where they haven't looked like a threat or very good at all.

The 3-0 win against them was the season before that. Samba was sent of Etherington scored the third. We were singing 'Are you watching Fabio?'. Happy days.

I had texts off three people before the game predicting we'd scrape a draw.
Reading had won four of their previous six games and we're shite.
We won. And now Reading are the worst team to have come to the Brit ;D

Worse than Swansea????????
They are the worst team I have seen play us at the Brit.
Burnley were pretty poor as were Newcastle when we walloped them. Also Bolton first season looked grim.

And now Reading are the worst team to have come to the Brit ;D Exactly, would love to see a thread about a guy on P&G who actually praised a performance like today. Good day at the office against a team on a high who were completely outplayed, 2 up at halftime would have flattered them. Some complain that Man City turn us over in second gear having spent squillions more than us, but when we turn over a side who many obviously thought we would have struggled with in this game it is disappointing that the players who actually achieved it aren't given the credit they deserve. Middle table obscurity demands different approaches to relegation desperation before anyone starts on todays results.
