Contrasting styles , contrasting tactics but the big question is , which brand of football would you prefer to watch..? Which manager has had the biggest Budget to play with..? Which team was the most skillfull and quickest..? Which team had the better midfield and sharper strikeforce..? What was the difference in terms of the cost of the two teams today...? Bet it wasn't £ 200 million like when Man City beat us.. ???

Ask again in 5 years.
We will be in the Prem with TP.
I doubt Laudrup will be at Swansea and I don't think Swansea will be in the Prem either.

It's a dodgy comparison to make, Laudrup has the potential to be a fantastic manager though.

We annihilated them at the Brit and they did likewise to us at their place. I see nothing that tells me Swansea are nothing but an ephemeral presence in the Prem. They will soon be gone and forgotten whereas we are there for the long term. I remember similar discussions about Bolton, Blackpool, Hull et al.

The point is that with the two additions of Michu and De Guzman , Laudrup has picked up two absolute gems....whereas Pulis is struggling to find one good one in 5 years... Here's the proof... Kitson... Gudjonsen Owen Walters Jerome Jones Sidibe We are still at the very bottom of the scoring charts (year after year)

So Swansea, West Brom etc still plummeting to the Championship come May. Have a look at what happened today and also what these relegation candidates are doing in other competitions. Laudrup quote today"great warm up for the mid week clash" FFS relegation teams think we are the warm up act.

From the outside…
Pulis peaked? and clinging on? – Laudrup on the up – Swansea stepping stone - Maybe?
Pulis will always get you 9th - 15th.
Can Stoke sustain higher?
There isn’t anyone on the list that makes me think you could.
Swansea at best might be a meaningless 3 places higher? but the next level and staying there is all about money rather than manager.

There is no doubt in my mind that he could have just as easily found two great defenders or wingers. The evidence from who he has already signed would strongly suggest this..

There is no higher for SCFC. It is a fiction. We are where we are. We have finished higher than 11th how many times in our 150 year history? It can't be many. We even finished bottom in the first season of the Football League. Other teams will come and go, they will have strong seasons and fall away back to the Championship. We are here for the long term; 9th to 15th for decades to come.

Seems a case of the home side having the advantage to me - Swansea were clueless at the Brit earlier in the season easiest 90 minutes we've had so far

With £ 90 million in Laudrups hands we wouldn't have to endure the rubbish we get served up every week...
Pulis is a dinosaur ....a bit like his plaudits. They don't see further than waste , mediocrity and horrible football.

Pulis is on borrowed time now.
A couple of poor displays in the four home league games against midtable or relegation fodder coming up and the floodgates will open.
