Does anyone think maybe MH will walk if it gets a bit sticky over the next couple of weeks?
Possibly use the transfer window as an excuse.
I am definitely behind the team we have, good or bad, but do wonder about his staying power in a dogfight.

If he does he can pretty much kiss goodbye to another job. Stay and keep us up is the best for all parties

I hope he doesnt....I do think he will do a good job if he gets backed properly, and get the whole scouting and backroom staff sorted out....I would dread to think how fans would react if we stayed up and had another transfer window as badly as the past few years.

Maybe he's stuck with us, and were stuck with him!
I think it's quite a possibility that he won't be the manager by the end of the season though.
I just think there is something not right in the club.

You can't 'fail' twice and get another one at this level.

I don't think he'll walk unless he's retiring from football. I doubt he'll survive the shit-storm that's enveloping the club under his stewardship though either!

No chance, he knows he's in the last chance saloon in the Premier League.

You have to question how competent he is when he would rather spend £5 mill on a midfield player rather than a striker or cover at centre half.

Hadn't considered that - bullocks there goes the optimism. Strap in its gonna be a bumpy ride

If he's going go he should of done it today. That way he could of quit in protest of his lack of backing by the board. That way his reputation might be slighty saved. Resignation over broken promises rather than team failure. After yesterdays joke id be quitting today if i was Mark Hughes.

If we fet slaughtered today and he feels he was not backed then yes he might walk. Especially if he gets stick from the fans after the game. It's never good taking stick if it's not your fault.
On the other hand he could use this debacle of a ransfer window to his advantage and lever extra funds next window perhaps insisting on his main targrt with a threat to walk if he doesn't get it.
The game is all about results so first we have to win some or he might not be walking alone.
