In our next two league games could make a big difference in getting players to come in Jan. What do you think?

Who knows mate, maybe, but I don't think we'll be getting them anyway. (The 4 - 6 points that is)
Hope I'm wrong of course.

I cant see us getting 4 or 6 points from those 2 matches. I have just checked our remaining fixtures and see 24 more points for us for the season.

Negative bugger that I am...... I'd actually be delighted with 2. That's really bad isn't it?

Personally I'm hoping for more than 2 points out of those 2 home games...........however, knowing Stoke I'm certainly not expecting more ( there must be a word that's 1/2 way between expecting and hoping it just escapes me right now ).......... I will be disappointed with anything less though, tbh.

I expected nowt from the Castle and Spurs games and think the same for the next two. I hope I'm wrong.

No one expected us to beat Chelsea either but we seem to have some form this season against the bigger clubs, I reckon ( or is it hope?? ). That form hasn't given us many good results, I grant you, but I'm still hopeful it will bear fruit. We can beat either of those sides at home on a good day I would say.

I guess it is generally better to keep any expectations in check, it tends to avoid crushing disappointment........... a particularly relevant strategy for any Stoke supporter. So I'll tempt fate no further

This is Fort Britannia we are talking about here we are a different beast at home. We played city of the park and thrashed chelski, this will be a mauling for 2 tired scouse teams - have any of them ever won at the Brit since our return to the prem. I predict we will score 10 goals, concede 11 and still get 6pts

I was hoping we would have a couple of our transfer targets in by the Liverpool game, however after listening to Mark Hughes on Sky Sports earlier, I'm getting the beer in ready for transfer deadline day.
I'll settle for two clean sheets against the scousers.

Be satisfied with 2, but will be hoping for 4.
We are much better at home. We'll be a different side against the Toffees than we were in the away game and we deserve some karma after SWJ's missed peno against the 'pool from the opening day.

Knowing Stoke we will probably lose to Everton then beat Liverpool, or vice versa. Cant see us getting 4pts

We have been so so against Everton at home - Liverpool are yet to win at the brit in the prem. 3 wins and 2 draws I believe
