Last day games are weird, but like first day games. Dont mean much unless you’re in with a chance of relegation or promotion. Look at Rotherham putting in a performance today. Not too much to be drawn today, shop window and all that Building on the last few games (swansea aside) shows what they can do. Could have been a non event

I would celebrate if we made the playoffs or got promoted. Don't get me wrong, I am mightily relieved to be all but safe and well done to the lads for a great performance yesterday, but I am certainly not celebrating surviving by the skin of our teeth when we should never have been in this position in the first place and when we were 10 points clear of the trapdoor in mid-January. We looked down and out after the Cardiff defeat. Without the impact SJW made on the club, we may have been relegated by now already! We're safe, great. Now straight into the inquest. I really like the guy, but big decision required over whether Schumacher is the right man to take us forward. The inquest will reveal that Schumacher took over a squad that was on the floor after AN made a complete mess of 20 new additions. Schumacher had to come in and try and work out systems for a truck load of misfits who he'd never met. We were on a massive downwards trajectory so this we were 10 points clear and all was rosey in the garden is just bollox. He has steadied the ship very well and we could potentially with 2 more decent performances end up 10 points clear but now we are most certainly on an upwards trajectory. That is a success by any metric... Failing to get anything out of QPR, Plymouth and Wednesday showed truly how out of his depth Neil was. Even one win and we'd be safe now. Yes Schumacher has made some mistakes but I feel we are in a much better place to move forward

That's a very worrying interview. He isn't playing with two bob players that have been dragged up through the leagues from League Two now. He's dealing with players that in parts have experience in Europe, in others are experienced at this level. They need managing and not throwing under the bus in public. Two weeks in a row now. It didn't work last week, what does he think will change this week? Please Steven, don't go down the same road as the others. Thought he was pretty honest just hope the players take what he's saying on board. 30 odd chances created in two games and only 2 goals is not good enough. Players with the experience they have should be more calm and clinical. Some do need a good kick up the arse.

Hmmmmm. I like that he admits his mistake. But would prefer if he hadn’t made it. Can't remember a previous manager doing this. Also liked he gave his reason for doing it too. There's along way to go, but the signs are there for him to be successful

Seems a really good bloke, but we could conceivably be looking at 0 points from 6 after Monday, given the opposition and injuries we appear to have racked up again. Started very well, now needs to make sure the next two aren’t both defeats. We have 2 tough games yes, but for once i a long while I reckon both will be looking to not get beat. The players apoear to be playing for the manager. Which is a massive step from what I saw at QPR and Plymouth. We should be confident going into both.

I like how he speaks, clearly a 100% passionate football man. Seems like he has a clear and simple vision and can enthuse a squad, which is absolutely what we have been lacking since relegation. Early days, and let's not get carried away, but I can see why he got so much out of his players at Plymouth. Was thinking the same. Clearly knows what he wants, also honest enough to know it won't always go right. Early days, but encouraging steps forward

Agree but it’s pretty logical , Why would players who are a consequence of a disasterous recruitment summer , and are miles off good enough for this league improve because their boss has changed they may like him more but they are still miles off good enough and always will be There are still a, rapidly diminishing, group of people signed up to the idea that the summer supermarket trolley dash was a great success and the new players just need pointing in the right direction. But sadly it's not true. It was a complete cluster-fuck. Wouldn't say great success, but certainly don't think it's the total doom and gloom either. Some performances this season have shown that. Consistency is the key - in selection and performance

I honestly believe there is enough talent in the squad. They just need to be coached properly. We have lost so many points due to individual errors.
It will take a bit of time, which we don't necessarily have, but there are encouraging signs. The early subs a clear indication of that

If we draw or lose this no win in 9 is piss poor. The January window is massive as is SS getting to grips with the squad. 9 minutes into the second half was a good start at getting a grip

I’m getting more excited about this. He better play the following in his first game though 😂 Bonham (and find a new GK quickly) Junior McNally Rose (sign a new CB) Steven’s (sign a new LB) Burger Pearson or if he’s banned, Laurent Campbell Bae Vidigal Mmaee It’s been so obvious to everyone but Neil. Let’s start having a go at teams, there should be more then enough firepower In That team. That has the look of a team that has goals and enough defensive presence to be solid. Need a new goalkeeper from Jan 1st, that can stay the season. Bonham is a good stopper, but such a worry on crosses

Going in level isn’t the worst thing, not sure I get the depressing meltdown on here currently. Need some movement around Bae in the second half to pick up the pace in the final third and we can win this. If we are going to keep playing long because of their press we need Wesley on. Oh and get the fucking basics right 🤦🏼♂️

Shows how wank we are. Get a bit of luck and take the lead buy don't capitalise. Back to square one now. Confindence plays a big part in that. Contained a team doing well and settled. One decent save is all they'd had before the present

Played well overall but one individual error and we’re level again. Such a shame. Was thinking the same, so many times individual errors cost us

How is a manager who saved a team from relegation in this league last season and got them into a playoff slot this season not a manager we need right now? I'm not saying he's necessarily the best manager but in terms of where we are now he really couldn't be better qualified. Im probably on your page mate It's interesting to see where they now are under Rooney. Not saying it's the best appointment just don't see it's the worst

Please, not Eustace. Love the bloke but he wasn't great on the whole at Brum and his football isn't great on the eye Let's buck the trend and go progressive Didn't he have them 6th before Rooney took over. Or does that say more about Rooney

What is more important? Would it have been better to have won one of the last 2 games and lost one meaning we would have had more points Or draw both (as we have) gain less points but maintain an unbeaten run? Let's be honest, the last 2 games have been awful and we could quite easily have lost both but if you can't win a game don't lose it I suppose. Drawing games we would have lost a month ago is progress. Next step is to start turning some into wins. Short term pain, for long term gain points wise.

10 points out of 12 against teams above us. Great progress. At least 7 more than most people would have thought I reckon. 2 clean sheets for Bonham will help his confidence too

Know nothing about him. Think I’d prefer Davies and I reckon there would be a perm deal to be done too. Rumours are he has said he wants to stay at Rangers and fight for his place The lure of Thursday night football. #memories
