Misinformed idiots. There is more poverty in and around London than anywhere. Then there's the areas of wealth. No different than any major towns around the Country. Cheshire's in the north, plenty of wealth & poverty there. Whereever you choose its the same.
Some ignorant fuckers just want to say - "poor me cos I don't live in a wealthly area"
Get off your back side and create wealth, employ people, grow your business in spite of all the obstacles - you might have a different view. Always two sides to every story.

So we have a team that is not at its fittest and according to some very little defensive tactics - hmmm so why are we overrun in midfield and can't score?

We have Crouch, Bony, Walters, Diouf, Berahino, Sobhi, Ngoy , Shaq and Arnie that can all play up front
Time we got some quality strong tackling defenders - Too many lightweights

The set up for corners should not leave Whelan to be one of the last defenders as he lacks pace. Any one of Bardsley, Pieters, Affeley even Allen would not have let Morrison out pace them to the ball. Pathetic to see and very avoidable. Having said that Stoke can't score - even with good chances. Why put on Diof and not Bony - Subs should have been Bony & Berahino to give us a chance

There has to be a big question mark around our training regime. I don't think they are as fit as a top premier or international player should be. They need to be a bit more scientific in the way they get their players to peak fitness to last 90 minutes in evpremier league. Forget the cushy trips to dubai let's see a more rigorous Athletic training. They have to be fot 52 weeks a year not just the football season. Look at top tennis players - 5 hours on a one to one - I would say most stoke and prem league players are reaching around 60% of their fitness capacity.

Unfortunately he was a liability and had definitely not got back to the heights he achieved. Knocked off the ball too easily although no different in build to Silva of Man City. If he toughens up while in the Bundesliga and learns to contribute more to the team then there is no reason why we cannot recall him at the end of his loan period, but Hughes had too many not putting a shift in already with Arnie & Shaq + Bony so something just had to give. Probably the same short sighted people on here moaning as they did when we had that headless chicken Tuncay in the side.
Get real we need some steele in this team not mamby pamby weak links

50/50 whether he will ever play to the standard he was achieving. Apart from the physical side he must be mentally shot and when it comes to those crowded penalty areas what will be in the back of his mind.
Hope i'm wrong

Benteke with the right influence and players around him will score goals. FFS he kept Villa in the Prem for about three seasons before they sold him

It is a crucial time for SCFC and Hughes. A finish like last season and he knows his job will be on the line and the honeymoon with Coates junior. COates senior plucked Pulis - a cometh the SCFC hour cometh the man.
Can he pluck another up and coming or tried and tested manager to really take us on to a respectable 6th to 9th spot with the capability to have good cup runs - and put some Steele into the backbone of this " FLAIR ....less team

"Shawlie" he cannot keep persevering with Shawcross, I'd rather have crouch at centre half at the moment. Seriously there has to be someone in the squad who can do a better job, and at least get their head on the ball at set pieces, tackle, pass.
DIof would do a better job!!! And I don't rate him

Clear out - needs to be the attitude of too many plyaers. No Fight for the cause in too many. Need a Strong Captain - Charlie Adam would have been ideal a few years ago but too late now. Perhaps that was missing at the back with Huth, not just a walking stick for Shawcross but a more robust and assertive player.
Out Diof (Not good enough), Shawcross (Can't pass, win balls in the box at both ends, too negative), Whelan (he's gone), possibly Walters not for his work rate but for his poor finishing, Crouch (just too old now), Bojan (Premier league not for him - gets knocked off the ball too easily), Johnson too old,
Jury is out on Shaquiri as he needs a rocket up his backside every 15 minutes by a vociferous Hard Captain.
Scott Dann of Crystal Palace would be ideal to get in if we could and if Palace are in trouble

Very interesting comments from Hughes and various posts, but when is he going to recognise his defensive and team tactics towards keeping clean sheets is flawed. You start with the defense and build from there. He has too many lightweights in defense and midfield and that needs to change quickly cos if we have a run in like last year we will be in big trouble

Hughes misplaced loyalty in shawcross is costing us dear. We need to address our defensive frailties in this window.
And yes shawcross is far far too negative even when he used to make aimless hoofs upfront, his preferred ball was back to keeper. Time to go I'm afraid

The answers ......
No

Chelsea will rip us to pieces.
Can't score Can't defend Can't keep the ball and yet we are now a passing team! Might as well hoof it and hope for. a 50/50. It's going to be a long run in and hopefully better than last season otherwise we are fucked

Shawcross comes in after we kept clean sheets and wham.
Johnson fault their first goal. Shawcross and Johnson fault second. Shawcross to Sturridge - shawcross just keeps looking for the negative release ball instead of a more positive approach. Let's get back to the defense we had when he was injured. PLesae

Thought he might have gone without Shawcross after his last game - standing behind the line for first goal - and not winning header against midget for second goal

I think Hughes recognised both Ryan and Huth are too slow and poor distributors as a pair. You can get by with one but not two. So that's why one had to go and on balance shawcross edged it. However, going forward we have to replace.

Stoke were all over the place defensively. Shawcross should have been sent off for a blatant professional foul. Bojan was trodden on and it was a penalty. We are having trouble scoring all season and that puts us under pressure.
Match of the day will try to entertain - stoke are not that entertaining are they and that's why we are always last. If we started scoring goals as well as playing attractive football then maybe we would not be on last
