Whats the difference in having 2 minutes silence that all take part and a poppy that all take part. Black armbands & 1 minute silence to respect a fan or (ex)footballer that's died. It all about respect something that the FIFA want all players to do RESPECT?
Strange decision - perhaps we should have a referendum on it. Trouble is when the people speak and say yes put poppies on there will always be those that do not agree with a Referendum!!!

Even if he did secretly desire to play internationals - his distribution so lets him down that I can't say with any confidence that any international manager worth his salts would pick him. His first move when he gets the ball is to look if he can play to his goalkeeper or fellow defenders. When he can't its a hoof aimlessly up front.

injuries, injuries, injuries. Same last year there needs a bit of a rethink on their training and preparation - especially with one of the best training facilities in the premier league

As an opposing manager playing against Stoke at the moment is a dream and a simple one at that.
We take so long to get the ball forward when we eventually win it back - usually from our goalkick!!
Teams have all the time in the world to get men behind the ball leaving us with difficulty in breaking them down. That it why, apart from Liverpool in Gerards last season, we are have been struggling to score goals.
No urgency and tough tacking in midfield or up front to win the ball off opposition. Simple

Now Arnie has signed a four year contract he is worth a bob or two and if the sulky one plays out of skin you never know who might come calling in January. Berahino price going down by the hour now. Perhaps a deal to be done and we swap a player who's desperate to get away for a player who was looking to get away if a big club came for him, which they didn't!! Just saying how it was and is

Perhaps we can start defending now he's gone although we do need Shawcross to step up quite a way. Anyone who thought he was good enough for the prem is deluded. He may have been as slow as Huth, but Huth could read the game

If we sign him good for a couple of years then if he's everything he's cracked up to be he'll be after a move to dare I say " a bigger club" or abroad - then we'll get the same problem that eBay are now getting. Let's face it look at arnie - they are all the same and you can't blame them with the money about and the short life of a pro footballer. That's life guys and you would all do the same

On the Subject of Transfer Contracts and signings, perhaps the Premier League Clubs should be made to be more transparent in what they pay and what deals the players (by name not just the Company Law position) have with the clubs & of course the agents fees. They are after all in the public domain, more so than many on the BBC payroll. I can understand with the lower paid players in lower divisions not being aired.

If he didn't go now, he'd go next year might as well get some cash. Lets face it he's not the best, he's replaceable and can easily be marked out of a game by tight marking, he gets frustrated and doesn't try

I see here are as many sceptics away from football as there are in. Proof of the pudding will be in the eating. I'm no great Boris fan but he brings a bit of what politics needs away from the mundane Corbinesque/Brownesque days of labour - if they get in I really will be worried.
There can't have been any worse fuck ups than the previous load of shite under Blair or even the Wilson era when they thought a good idea to let all these asians in to help their votes and look where that's got us. You probably thought Enoch Powell was a fuck up, well who's laughing now
Lets wait and see how Boris goes on and how History pans out.

When Europe & in Particular Merkel start talking sense, especially about "migration" - (NOT to be confused with so called Refugees) then how can you take the whole corrupt deluded leaders of the EEC seriously. Boris would be useless as Prime Minister or the tough negotiations on Brexit, which is exactly why he is where he is. I certainly wouldn't want him as chancellor but dont dismiss his ability for one minute.

Why is this thread still here? We are out and staying out. No going back.
Unless the In's want a best of three - a bit like yesterdays Euro Final - France want another go as it was that close it went to extra time.
When will these idiots realise that out means out?

Negotiations for what? He's had a decent season, tailed off for the last couple of months, held SCFc to ransom (or hoped to move to a "bigger" club). I think we need to change the terms a little bit more in our favour, if he gets more money, starting with removing any release clause at a cut down price. And seeing as Austria/Ireland played their last game on 22 June it will be a month before they join the rest of the squad and teams that pay their wages, two weeks before the season starts.
