I was gutted when he left, and then forgot about him when Imbula was briefly class, and now miss his again! Not to take anything away from Cameron though, he's done very well in that role of late.
To be fair, one of our former players has just scored the winner as his team have beaten Atletico Madrid to go top of La Liga. If that doesn't deserve a thread on here, not many things would.

Why can't it be tagged onto one of the 25 others instead we will have the same things said over and over again
Proud to see a former Stoke player doing so well. In fact, not just a former Stoke player but a player we helped develop into the incredible player he is now.

I reckon if our old tone had just gone bottom of the league with a massive defeat, the usual suspects would be threading their arses off, so don't worry
Glad for him only left for champion's league football and challenging for major honours every year, shows how much our club is coming on that top European clubs are looking at our players, people on here saying we should of let his contact run down he'll sign in the end but he wouldn't of done for that reason,so it was getting 8 million or nothing for him.

Had we refused the offer and held him to his contract we wouldn't have spent £18M on Imbula who may or may not make the grade eventually but right now we'd be very lucky to recoup £10M on so your point is moot. I don't see how anyone could know what would have happened after the window had closed, stranger things have happened than him perhaps deciding to extend his deal, its all brinksmanship players that swear they won't sign suddenly do when the window's no longer open. In hindsight we blinked too soon.
