I suppose this was all part of the gamble TP took by signing him (albeit a low risk gamble), there was always a chance that he'd never get his form and skill back, at the moment he is personally my 4th choice CB behind Shawcross, Huth and Upson. If he does get some sort of form back though, and plays the way he did at the start of the season, then he'd fast become one of our best CB's, and although I wouldnt want TP disrupting the make up of the team again by swapping and changing every week, he'd be a great addition to our Europa squad for the tricky knock out stages.
Definitely agree that I don't want to see him at RB though at the expense of the likes of Shotton and Wilkinson.

IMHO we are wasting our time with Woodgate and he is keeping younger, quicker and stronger players on the bench. Shotton, Wilkinson and the like need to be playing. Woodgate sadly has had his day. you may be right, but he is a great pro to have around the club and an inspiration to younger players. he has been injured for a great deal of his career, but doesn't go around beating people up, moaning or sitting there not working, just happy to pick up his wages. he makes the likes of tevez, wilshere, gerrard etc look awful and is a good example to a lot of our young players. Comes across as a nice guy too so is great to have around. Plus, if he does find his form he will be our best player. Well, wouldnt say he's never gone round beating people up, but apart from that you're spot on, a great bloke to have round the dressing room. Even TP can learn a lot from him about Europe etc.

Think in the premier league Shawcross would be valued higher than Huth due to being a couple of years younger and English. I agree with JBstokie, £5-6m for Walters, or though I'd hate to see him leave for that!!!

Pulis has never taken kindly to his players contradicting him in the press. Same thing happened when Lawrence said he was 100% fit after the falling over his dog saga. Pulis went on radio Stoke to say that Lawrence was a bit thick and doesn't know what he's talking about.

A back up winger, a decent "fit" midfield player and a LB. get these in and I'd be a very happy chappy!

Completely agree about Stonehenge, for some reason I had it in my head I'd be completely blown away by them, and then when I actually saw them, they were EXACTLY the size I thought they'd be, which for some reason dissapointed me. Didn't help that it cost nearly a tenner to walk around them and the closest you can get to them is about 20 yards away!

He is having a trial it is true. Not as a player though. Kit manager in charge of bibs. He will also be in charge of fireworks at all social events at the brit. Yeah I heard Pulis sent him out to buy some new cones for the training pitch and he came back with an articulated lorry full of beanie hats, desposible bbqs and them wagon wheels you get with jam in the middle.

Nothing wrong with Marc Wilson, lot of people said he'd become an amazing midfield player in years to come a long time before we signed him. We do need a LB though, would be happy with bridge, or warnock would make me very happy!

If he provides as much entertainment as his older brother then may be worth signing up!

How have Palacios and Higgy looked so far? Not really heard either mentioned in the commentary but to be fair it's crap. Both have been quiet to be honest...

Well that was a drab first half. Maccabi are really, really poor and definitely there for the taking, we just need to step up a gear!

It adds pressure and can still shit up opposition goalkeepers and defenders so I approve of the long throws!

Hope it's not the end of his career anyway. And he is/was a top class midfielder, and not overrated or underrated in my opinion.

It's simple, we start Walters, he bags us 3 goals in the first half, then we rest him for Thursday and bring Jerome on. Sorted! ;D

Grrrrrr!!! Such a frustrating display! We honestly didn't play that bad. Jackson finished with 308 passing yards, and Obomanu had four catches for 107 yards and Rice had seven catches for 102 yards, which makes it their best game this seaso , which makes it even more annoying that we just couldnt make things happen! Still can't get my head around how we passed on the chance to pick Dalton in the draft, he looks a cracking QB...

My favourite for fun and sillyness has got to be either GTA:London or GTA Advance, although San Andreas is probably my favourite too, just because it was so immersive.

He also thinks he's too good for Stoke Thats his main problem, he scored a couple of half decent goals a couple of years ago and now thinks he is the next Paul Scholes. Thats why not even Man United fans like him, thus the hilarious Twitter fiasco earlier this year ;D
