march You really do make yourself look very stupid at times. Michael Bradley is an outstanding footballer who puts his body on the line and does a lot of the dirty work in midfield, he also gets forward on the odd occassion and is a decent passer of the ball. Saying he'll join a no mark club in Denver or Tucson utterly baffles me. Sometimes I think that some of us supporters are SCARED of us pushing on, to push on you need to take these chances. If he was offered to us and we refused then we have been very very bloody stupid! Outstanding ;D ;D ;D Best post of the week. There must have been an oversight when all the footballing awards were being given out. ;D ;D Some say he will be a success, I say he will be a failure. The point is we don't know and therefore it is a huge risk. As I say, if you are so convinced, phone SCFC now and offer to pay part of his wages. Out of genuine interest though, what type of players wouldn't be a risk in your opinion? Only even if we sign a player who we know can do well in the prem, it still carries a massive risk (just look at the likes of Kitson or Eidur).

Calling him a GIANT risk is a bit of an over exaggeration. He has NEVER played in the Prem. All he has done is strolled around in midfield. The likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Wolves, Stoke, Brum, etc don't exist in his world. In 12 months time he won't have coped with the demands and will be off to some backwater. I can't prove my statement and you can't prove yours. If you are so convinced, phone the club up and offer to pay his wages. If he was on £50 a week I would! Thing is, every player in the world has a risk attached to them, but in my opinion playing in the Bundesliga and making the world cup finals doesn't make him as big a risk in my mind as it does in yours. He is a lot less of a risk imo then signing somebody from the lower English leagues.

Oh come on. It's risk free and he's a model pro (allegedly). You cannot trawl this line out for every signing that everyone else makes. Bradley is EXACTLY the kind of player that would slot into Pulis preferred system. OK, then if you are so convinced, you phone up the club and tell them you will pay 1% of his wages out of your own pocket. Otherwise, you are complaining that Uncle Peter won't pay 100% of the wages out of his own pocket on a giant risk. I think this is the last you will hear of Bradley and he will leave Villa in 12 months for some no mark club in Denver or Tuscon. Calling him a GIANT risk is a bit of an over exaggeration.

yeah on espn bradley loaned to vila How many games has Bradley played in the Prem? Another risk by a club fearing for their future. At €5m though it isn't the greatest risk ever taken, and from what everybody seems to think about him, he's by no means going to be a massive flop. Also it's on a loan, so if he is shit then nobody has lost out on anything apart from a few weeks wages, which I doubt will be massive.

andystokie321111 I Dont Know Who You Are ? But You Appear To Write On Here Alot. Just Wondered When You Were Planning To Tell Everyone About Adam Barton. As Prior To My Mention And That Of Another Poster, You Had Not Said Anything About Him. You Dont Appear To Know Anything Other Than What Others Are Correctly Or Incorrectly Talking About Here. No Offence. Fuck me upper case on the first letter of every Word! Not sure if I am impressed or scared of the mind that would think to do that! Be afraid, be very afraid...

Exactly Grapey, I actually think we have one of the worst scouting networks in the league and it is a huge problem and one that could end up halting our progress. There are more footballers than those who ply their trade in the United Kingdom. Yawn. Yawn. Yawn. Firstly, this club cannot progress much further. Secondly, the basis for the success has been signing individuals prepared to stick their neck on the line for the cause in a typically 'English' way. The club will probably be looking to cast their net a little wider as time moves on, though to deride the existing approach in the transfer market is extremely naive and is indicative of someone who is neglecting the context of the club's success. tart.

On a couple of months loan, wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen, as long as we replace him with somebody shit hot in the summer...

At GCSE level I got A's in English Lit & Language, B's in everything else. Think it was 11 GCSE qualifications in total.
At College A-Levels I got an A in Film, B in Media and C in ICT.
Then I got a FD (foundation degree) in Film Production and Management, and then did a year 'top-up' course to get a 2:1 BA(hons) in Studies in Film.
Shame I don't have a decent job to show for it!!!

What a game!!! Very happy with that result. I just knew Hasselback would make a differance coming back from injury, but he was absolutely superb! Great all round team performance!

Been a bit of a shakey start by the Seahawks, starting to prove that we can play now though!

Cheers for the help/offers of gay porn guys ;D and i think the Seahawks may clinch it, what with home advantage and the 12th man and all that You still need a decent QB and a defense. Something Seattle are sadly lacking. There are about 20 people coming to mine to watch both games today. Chili and Jambalaya cooking in a pair of slow cookers. Fridge full of cheap American shit beer. It's going to be a good day! Our defense is shocking I'll give you that! On the plus side though Hasselbeck is back, and the last time we played the Saints he threw for 366 yards! Also take into consideration that the Saint's will be missing Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas as well as a few others, meaning they won't be playing that much of a running game, which will certainly suit our defense! By the way, you're day sounds very ace indeed!

He's been a naughty boy in the past, possibly one for the dogs home etc, etc. although as mentioned, a striker really shouldn't be on the top of our list this January.

It's a tough one really, would have him in a shot for that price going off his ability and the fact he would be great for Stoke, but I can't see him staying on the straight and narrow for too long.
