Before kickoff having got served straight away in the half empty concourse and enjoying the extra space from having empty seats around,l was thinking that life back in the championship wouldn't be all bad. Then we go and get three points!

Tymon is injured and Wimmer was actually not that bad, in fact if he wasn't the worst player in the world you could say he had a good game.

There were a fair few fans who weren't exactly sobbing... Seriously though they’ve moaned about more or less everyone since Poch left them! He (poch) is very good though, being second best to him is no insult

We seem to have missed the doing well bit So now you think finishing 9th for 3 years is not doing well? You're a top 6 man are you? I meant this season

Exit without saving if you lose a game and then replay until you win.
Some people would call it cheating but who cares

There is always a lower echelon team that does well then fades away. When they do fade away they often struggle this season or the next. You mean like Stoke. We seem to have missed the doing well bit

Because they don't really care anymore and are just waiting for the new manager.
Or they are just crap.

Well, this is what we've got to aspire to.... Burnley will go fourth if they win bearing in mind our recent form a draw would be adequate. And adequate is the best we can expect at the moment

Shaq is very good, Butland was very good (not sure he is at the moment) and a few others have good days and bad days.
But I would not put us as promotion favourites in the championship.

Tony Pulis coming back... Berahino would feel like Theon Greyjoy being taken back to Ramsey Boltons torture chamber. We all would.

We've become stagnant and quite happy to survive, let's get a team to shout about and look forward to watching. Never done Chelsea or man City any harm has it. Blackburn?

Not wanting Zouma in midfield anymore then? How come? Well yeah that's the Edwards scenario but it's not going to happen is it? Cameron is a bollocks right back, Zouma is a better right back than he is a centre back and Cameron is better than Fletcher and it's all Hughes friendly. Ideally Edwards at right back and Zouma in midfield would be my choice but there's Bob Hope of that. Did you watch the Swansea game?

That is NOT allowed under Oatcake rules Wimmer can never be said to have had a good game regardless of how well he played.

Hate to poo-poo anything but his real name actually Graham Porter. The story goes that when he first signed as an apprentice for his first club, they misread his name and he just stuck with it. Even better he accepted his destiny

A bit of a left field option but what about Graham Potter?
Ex-Stoke City player (although not a very good one) played his whole career in the English leagues and then took a Swedish team from the 4th division to the 1st Division and a Swedish cup win and now the knock out stage of the Europa league.
No professional management experience in England but has been successfully so far.
We could multiply his salary and any premier league club is a much bigger deal than any Swedish club.

The only name I have seen who would realistically come here is "He Who Must Not Be Named" and although it would save me £346 on a season ticket next year I really don't want him back YET AGAIN!

The choice is Mark Hughes, a lower league manager of no particular note, Alan Pardew, an unknown foreign manager, Craig Shakespeare or he who shall not be named.
Last summer I would have been all in favour of a change and my first choice would have been Marco Silver but now given the lack of alternatives regrettably I will stick with Mark Hughes.

Of course he wants to move up he has played for Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. He wants to get back to that level or close to it, the question is will anyone at the next level make us a suitable offer.
