It seems perfect timing for him to finally get a crack at the Wales job. Would they want him? Yes the job is to 1) not get thrashed 2) try and grind out a draw 3) nick a few games He is good at this, of course explaining the 0-0 draw with Gibraltar might be his downfall

At first I thought it was a bizarre decision on Coleman's part, but the more I think about it the more sense it makes. If he succeeds at Sunderland, he would be seen as a miracle worker. If he fails at Sunderland, how much would it really harm his reputation? Everyone knows the club is fucked up and sets up managers to fail. I doubt it would prevent him from getting another job. The worst case scenario is that he fails like so many before him and gets a nice payoff. He was on £200k a year at Wales. His payoff would probably be several times that. See your point but

My 2 top picks are out straight away, wth Coates bigoted British manager only policy. Thomas Tuchel - Priority No. 1. Free agent, but would he fancy us? A crack at the perm at a solid club like ours must be a draw. Ronald Koeman - is it too soon? Is he out of fashion now? Either or would infinitely improve us, as would many others. But people shouting out Ancelotti, Mancini etc are kidding themselves. And making our fanbase appear deluded. No chance of getting Tuchel Why not he is currently unemployed.

And yet he is out of work. A deal until the end of season or a release clause if a champions league club come in for him?

Could someone compile a list of available candidates who have premier league experience... Thomas Tuchel an ambitious appointment and he would consider us a gateway to better jobs in the premier league but he is out of work and might be persuaded.

None of you can ever name a replacement. Had a few in the summer but this is the only reason to keep him

Numerous 4 goal drubbings last season, 4 goal drubbing at home to Chelsea, 7 goal humiliation against Man Shitty, a Manager that doesn't know his best side formation or tactics, slow ponderous dull football, still relying on hoofing it up to Crouch, poor signings and a seemingly lack of motivation. These are just some of the things non Stoke supporting friends and colleagues are saying with huge smirks on their faces. God I'm pissed off. Gouranga. Could people be laughing at you because you end every post Gouranga. ?

Hope they go for De Boer - superb job at Palace and with the right backing he could take them down and bankrupt them 😀 😬 Okay

Basing this on home games only but I haven't seen a bad performance Chelsea was a bad result sure but with no defenders we played as well as could be expected Better Beat Bournemouth I think we will. So do I

Is thinking to himsen, this lot in front of me,could cost me becoming England's No.1.? Well because they are not a top 6 side and have never one the world cup (or Everton) they are. On the plus side he is getting lots of shots to save

I'm sure of that and am perfectly in agreement; and that goes to show the complete lack of ambition which the owners have for this club Who would you like them to bring in to show some ambition then? There is no one available at the moment because we really wouldn't get Ancelotti. I was in favour of a change in the summer but not now.

They would both change the work ethic and style of our team and it would be for the better. A lot better. People who are saying Guardiola wouldn't make a difference are seriously stupid. Well after we had paid his £21 million a year wages we would have lot less money for players about 20.1 million less, so yes he would make a difference

Coleman's CV before Wales is shocking. He's rode a wave with Bale, fair play but absolutely no thanks. He did OK at Fulham despite selling their best players, he was rubbish at Coventry but that's because they have no money and rubbish players. Don't think he is a bad manager but Hughes is better.

It seems neither of these teams realise what a win can do for their qualification both so negative. Understand Wales not wanting to lose but ROI are awful where's Walters when you need a goal? An inch away as usual?

That's Allen out for Saturday. Don’t worry we’ve got Charlie to combat the pace and movement of Man City Really can't see it making any difference to the result:(
