Just listened to them beaten by United 1:2
0-2 down at home they had a real go last 15 apparently
leaving lots of boots and elbows in too - by all accounts
next week - spicy or what ?
just hoping the team and the crowd bring their 'A game'
( it'll need a strong and very honest referee too)

Just hope I'm wrong

I think we as fans can play a big part next week. Moan and shout all we want after the game, but we need to be fully behind them from the off.

Ditch crouch and diouf next week, it looked painful the last two games.
Sit deep, try and sneak a goal on a counter attack.
Butland
Johnson Shawcross Cameron Pieters
Allen. Fletcher Adam
Shaq. Choupo. Jese

They competed well for large spells of the game today but let's not forget this is a team who haven't won a league game since August 19th, their mentality is every bit as fragile as ours at the moment and if we were able to get in front next week and maintain the sort of atmosphere we did for long periods yesterday than there's every chance they could implode as well. Football is so much about building confidence and self belief and this is two teams who are desperately short of that at the moment, the first goal will be absolutely vital.

Choupo. Jese Good god no. Sit deep? Like we did at burnley? What happened there!! Still continuing with fletcher? And fucking glen johnson. Don't get me started on that. I think you need a chat with the samaritans mate

I'd start with the Saido up top, if this game doesn't motivate the lad then nothing will. Shaq in the Number 10 role behind the striker.

I just purchased one of them Google home devices. I asked it what the result will be next week. It said it couldn't answer that but is learning all the time.
£89. I expect more

I’m beginning to lose all faith. The fans turned up yesterday however the shit manager and team didn’t. It’s fucking appalling. How the wanker is still in a job I’ll never know.
HUGHES OUT

We just looked fecked at the moment. I think I would actually be happy with watching an organised team get a result of some sort next week. However we look like a team that has lost before we start and are now really struggling to compete at this level.
All of our defenders are slow out of form and look like they are running on sand and don't have a fecking clue where they are supposed to be or what they are doing, Fletcher looks like one of those cartoon characters whose legs move but his body doesn't, there is very little quality/creativity/pace and all confidence has gone - the players just look like they are going through the motions at the moment.
We are due some fecking luck though and if we can somehow get 3pts next week that would lift the mood and take us into the window with a glimmer of hope, some luck on the injury front would not go amiss either

Got be Butland Edwards Ryan zouma pieters Shaq. Cameron Allen Moting Saido Diouf Zouma is injured mate, and will be on Saturday. Also I didn't like the way Pieters was holding his groin. Wouldn't be too surprised if he was out too. Fuck knows who he'll play and in what formation. It's beyond a joke now

Fuck sitting back, we need to win and stop hoofing it to crouch.
4231,
Butland Cameron Shawcross Wimmer Pieters Fletcher Allen Jese Shaq Ramadan Berahino
Diouf has been wank the last 3 games, so Saido comes in. We need more creativity behind the striker, so let the 3 attacking midfielders be fluid and switch roles throughout the game.

Hughes involved - 0-1 West Brom win. Fans not behind him, players not behind him. They've looked ok against united and their fans are past the differences with Pulis and are looking up.
Hughes not involved - 2-1 stoke win. Fans up for it. Atmosphere immense, get a win and things are looking up, fans/players excited for a new manager, new additions in January and picking up points throughot the Christmas period.

Looking at west brom, they are one of very few teams as slow as us in midfield.
If we can get Cameron in alongside Allen in midfield we can maybe press up a bit more and put in a positive performance.
That would mean playing Wimmer at CB again, a risk we just have to take as the midfield is killing us right now.
We are wide open in midfield every game
Butland
Johnson Shawcross Wimmer Pieters
Cameron Allen. Sobhi
Shaq. Choupo
Diouf

Just bare in mind Waggy to factor in the blankets, I am up for anything to cheer the lads on but I don’t want to spend the day tucking myself in and getting comfy! It’s not easy to keep the draft out!
