If Ronald Koemann has immedietly turned down the Swansea job, is it possible he has already spoke to Stoke about taking over here?

I would imagine he thinks he can do a lot better than both....

In my view the feeling is mutual.
What has he done to be mentioned?
Southampton were glad to see the back of him and Everton was a basket case.
Look how well Alerdyce has done in a short period. It shows just how rubbish Koemann was.
I want him no where near Stoke

But we are not a champagne club so our list of who we can seriously attract is short.
Strangely a win against WBA would make us look a little more appealing to any would be candidate, a loss however and we will be forced to go for Captain Bligh or man the pumps with what we have.
edit IN MY OPPINION

In no way were Southampton glad to see the back of him. There were a fair few fans who weren't exactly sobbing... I think it more a case of annoyance at, having given him a chance to manage in the Prem, he left at the first opportunity and went to a team that had finished lower in the Prem. Many saw it as a slap in the face and overt greed. Sounds familiar?

Everton was one of few teams that conceded more goals than us while he was there (this season), which tells me he is NOT what we should be looking for!

I'd rather have Bilic. But then again there isn't many out there I wouldn't take over Hughes right now

I could imagine Koeman and Bilic will want an extended break from football cant see either coming stoke, i wouldnt want them anyway. My choice would be Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane.

He also got Everton into Europe for this season. You may not like him for other reasons but to say he is rubbish is absolute bollocks.

Why would anyone want a proven failure. He’d be lucky to be offered the Swansea job. And he’s obviously deluded

Bilic and Koeman have FAILED Which available manager has not failed. The only available managers are ones that have been sacked. By definition, all available managers have failed.

We should of gone for allardyce when everton hesitated the first time, he would of sorted this complete mess out and brought calm to the situation. He is unbeaten and won 13 points out of 15 available everton looked so comfortable under his leadership!

Koeman does nothing for me either, seems yet another dour Dutchman who thinks he's far better than he is. It's like a proper Steve McClaren, can speak Dutch, but can't manage a football team.
We'll probably appoint him next Wednesday.
