As soon as the Jan window opens, I can see clubs coming in for him, i can see him wanting to leave.
I know i would, barring the 2/3 players we lack any class.

He definitely gets frustrated with what's going on around him..
But he can be frustrating himself.
As things stand though if we lose him it's hello Barnsley and Ipswich.

I'd want to go.
No matter what he does we will concede and undo any good he has put in

Of course he wants to move up he has played for Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. He wants to get back to that level or close to it, the question is will anyone at the next level make us a suitable offer.

No doubt in my mind he is going in January.
These first three months have been his shop window.

If I was anyone on the books, playing under Hughes, I'd want to leave. But then again, who would seriously want to sign 99% of the shite we've got.

If I was him I would want to leave just to get away from the negative shit on this board!

Probably not. He's the main man here. The star attraction. He's loved.
He'd leave in summer if we went down but I don't think he'll be fussed about our current position so long as he's the star man. Not in a bad, selfish way obviously. But he's not exactly playing badly, why leave now?

Would any of our players want to stay, none of them are born and bred Stokies are they? They are like 90% of players today, they will be off once they get a better offer from elsewhere.

He'd better than us, has no natural affinity to Stoke and is young enough to have plenty of ambition left.
If he didn't ultimately see his future elsewhere I'd be worried. We've got our money's worth so just hope he isn't an Arnie sized twat when he does go.

Would he risk leaving in Jan with it being World Cup year?
I'm not so sure.
He'll definitely be off by next summer though. Way too good for us.

If I was Shaqiri i'd go AWOL
How fucking annoying it must be to do your job properly and score worldies only for some dickheads behind you to throw all your good work away because they can't even do the simple things

I’d Probably stick it out til the summer. But I’d want to see signings in January- some decent midfielders and a mobile striker who could make decent runs. I also don’t want to move in case it messes things up for the wold cup. I’d miss being the main man. Otherwise first decent offer in the Summer and I’m off... Champions league would be nice though.

As above - I think he will want a bit of stability until the World Cup so he will hang around here. After that it’s thank you and good night.

He will have a relegation clause in any case so he doesnt have to worry until summer just keep his performances up and rely on the rest of the team to undo all his good work. Just goes to show one player doesn't make a team.

Tricky one....he may want stability in a World Cup year....if there wasn't one he would definitely be off in January. I can see him staying but there will be the "I'll decide my future after the World Cup" scenario where he will touted at training camps and we will lose him before the season starts.

Every good player wants to play for the best clubs, and in fact I think Shaq would do even better for one of the big clubs! Wouldn't sell for less than £30M though, maybe even wanting players as part of the deal!

Wouldn’t blame the lad one bit. Such a shame, we had a good thing going when he signed but unfortunately it’s all gone tits up. In all my years following and supporting my club, I’ve rarely felt as low as I do tonight.

Can't imagine many, if any actively wanting to stay.
Peters maybe, because no matter how shite he is he's never replaced or even dropped.
