To add perspective and context Pickford was sold to Everton for £40M

Hughes did worse than he should've done with the squad available. Scholes and Cartwright are not the reason we are where we are. They can share a portion of the blame

For me this is step one. A modern football club isn't as simple as the buck stops with the manager. The decisions and deals a manager is responsible for nowadays is nothing like it was 20 years ago. Hughes was massively to blame but Cartwright and Scholes have had their hands in this too.
Hughes Out! Scholes Out! Cartwright Out!

Hughes is/was the manager but you allowed this to happen. Even 3 weeks ago you publicly stated you did not know what the fuss was about Hughes was is own downfall but boy your board has a hell of a lot to answer for to allow our fall from such a strength which you created and now seem to be killing This is down to Scholes and Cartwright. Coates rescued us from the Championship without his money we wouldn't have reached the premier league and in turn an FA Cup final and Europe. Coates took us back when we needed him after he was hounded out the club by us the fans - that took bollocks!

We have money to spend so don't need to sell him. He's our best player so it would be crazy. That been said with the world cup around the corner he may yet ask to leave and that would be a different story. First team football and at least double his wages with a shot at the world cup number one spot now Joe Hart isn't playing - who'd blame him???

I haven't turned on Shawcross he's a club legend. I'm saying he's underperformed this season. I also think as a captain it is his jib to motivate the players when they are out there on the pitch. when there heads drop he should be geeing them up, when they fuck up he should be tearing them a new arse-hole. Too many times I've seeing Shawcross this season looking clueless whilst Zouma arranges the back 3/4. If you seriously think that Zouma has organised the back 4, then I'm not sure that you have actually seen Stoke this season. Positionally Zouma is all over the place but has used his pace to get out of trouble. You may also have noticed that Shawcross has missed half of the season with injury, so which person is also to share your view that the captain should be motivating the players? Don't they have any pride in their own performance? It's the nanny state gone wild again.People should take responsibility for their own actions- not need motivating! I've seeing him shouting at those around him and pointing to where players need to be positionally and urging the back 4 to hold the line more than Shawcross has. Yes players are responsible for their own actions of course they are but we all answer to people in positions of authority and when we make mistakes or fuck up we get pulled up for it; on a football pitch this is through communication, passion and plenty of shouting. Look at players like Tony Adams, John Terry and Peter Schemicheal - they were constabtly organising and shouting - its part of a captains role (Schmichael was captain but he was there to organise his defence). We haven't seen anywhere near enough of this leadership from Ryan this year. I love the guy but I think his heads dropped this season when weve been struggling and its during those times you need somebody to be a commanding figure

I could of blamed loads but Shawcross is the captain and its his role to to motivate the players. I haven't seen him bollocking them once! Shaq is meant to be our star player and at time she is bone bloody idle. So they were singled out because of the expectation we rightly have of them to perform. However there are plenty more who are to blame and plenty more who have under performed! Shaq was our best player until about 3 weeks ago. If it hasn't been for him we wouldn't have a bloody point in the league. Shawcross' job is not to motivate the players. That's each players individual responsibility and that of the manager. I sick of fans turning on a man who has done so much for us because he's not what he was. I haven't turned on Shawcross he's a club legend. I'm saying he's underperformed this season. At times he has but far too many times he has shown a lack of desire and effort. Newcastle at home was embarrassing how much he showed he couldn't give a fuck! He may not be the worst and maybe one of the best of a bad bunch but surely we can all agree he has fell well below the standards we expect of him.

Some of the players have been shamelessly lazy and inept. It pains me to say it but Shawcross and Shaqiri have been woeful this season!! No leadership at all. It's been a pleasure seeing Edwards come through and watching Zouma at times. Fletcher has been abysmal also!!! I can go on!!!!!! What?! Shawcross and Shaq are the two you single out. Seriously? We wouldn't be where we are without Coates so not sure about that. However the blame isn't just at Hughes' door. Yes, he is tactically inept and cant get the best out of his players. Yes he picks a formation and forces players to play out of position rather than pick formations and tactics that play to his players strengths. And yes its a results business so he must go!
But Cartwright and Scholes are equally to blame! They choose the incoming players, they have allowed this mess to happen and they paid bloody £18M for Wimmer!!! The whole club top to bottom needs a bloody good shake up but for me; Coates and the BET365 money stays!

The same freedom that lets Muslim Terrorists and Hate Preachers march through our streets disrespecting our laws and spouting hatred, whilst protected by our own police force! Not sure my Grandad gave his life for that or for those right wing skinhead twats doing the same. Each to their own though hey? H Post of the year, so far. Granted, we’re only 4 days in. Couldn’t agree more. Spot on pal, spot on! McClean is scum. The poppy represents the death of all soldiers. He should wear it and respect the country which has made him a millionaire!

Anybody playing this?
What mode do you use?
I prefer online head to head playing as the Rams I did play it when I had my PS4 but could only play offence, impossible to play defence. Was still really shit at offence. I bought it as it was meant to be the most user friendly that they had produced but I thought it was still WAY too complicated. Offense is easier. I usually stick to about 15-20 plays depending on the scenario and will only go off script when nothing is working. Defence is harder but I learned it by beginning to read and understand the defences of opponents when youre on offense. If you break the game down into segments it does get easier.

Solid Performance against United. Stoke of old with fighting spirit, chasing every ball. 6 points from next 9 would be a decent start point. Beyond that 2/3 decent signings, cup semis and top half.
Not too much to ask is it?

Will always support and love the club and will always attend regardless of league but lets face it we weren't selling out or even coming that close before we were in the Prem so I dare say a lot wont!

If we signed Suarez, Ronaldo and Messi then Hughes wouldn’t have a clue what to do with them. We could give him £1B and we would still go down in 20th position. Every single second that passes without him being sacked weakens our position further and further. 100% disagree , removing Hughes will make not a jot of difference , the equivalent of treating terminal illness with paracetamol , the surgery required is far more drastic and involves complete removal of Hughes executive boss and the transfer team, until that happens clough , stein , shankly and busby couldn’t help . witness as accurately forecast in the autum we are considering our managers position in the first week of the transfer window , with no replacement lined up as others have taken the proven candidates while we dallied over cost .The disease in our club is far worse than having a manager struggling with a grossly under Invested , poorly scouted squad under the ridiculous banner of sustainability Hughes wouldn't have a clue what to do with them! He is tactically inept and wouldn't have a clue how to motivate our team. That being said and it surprises me we aren't hearing more about this - Cartwright and Scholes should be sacked too.
The club needs a fresh injection of man power and management at all levels!!
Scholes, Cartwright and Hughes OUT!

Who actually thinks Bet365 sponsor us for brand exposure, i don't. in fact i think Stoke City F.C. is the one who is benefiting from brand exposure in all those Bet365 adverts. i'm sure there are other financial benefits to Bet365 sponsoring us, which would remain the case if we were in the championship. BET365 sponsoring us is a good way to inject cash into the club without breaching FFP. Didn't Man City's owners do this by sponsoring the stadium and surrounding estate for a phenomenal amount?
