Hughes is/was the manager but you allowed this to happen. Even 3 weeks ago you publicly stated you did not know what the fuss was about
Hughes was is own downfall but boy your board has a hell of a lot to answer for to allow our fall from such a strength which you created and now seem to be killing

We are not stranded 10 points adrift there’s a shit load of football still to be played.....

Well, it may be a momentous day but that doesn't mean we should start mixing up our prepositions and adverbs, it makes us look like a bunch of amateurs

There are probably too many bets on Hughes being sacked. Will probably bankrupt Bet 365 if he is.

We’ve acted. At last. It’s late but it’s certainly not to late. There’s a new man to come in. There’s money to be spent. I’m more confident we can stay up now than I was an hour ago

So as yet it’s neither too late nor have we been destroyed. We lost to a club today who have actually been all but destroyed, I hope to God nothing anywhere near that ever happens to us the Internet would spontaneously combust.....

Tunics should be pressed and smart as they come over the hill to massacre us. I feel so bad that I have let the team down in this crucial hour

The supporters on this board who follow the team home and away have known for 18 months how bad we have been. Those who go occasionally or watch on a stream keep spouting on about we finished 9th,looking back and living on historical results as been our downfall,Hughes was living on his first 24 months. Who ever the new man his we must back him.

Bad Management. £@#& the lot off & finally become a Premiership Football Club. Remember the embarrassment of our 150th.

It Shouldn’t end with Hughes sacking, Cartwright , Bowen Hodges, the only one in the backro who deserves keeping Is Andy Quy, these decisions have to be made because i honestly don’t think it is all Mark Hughes’s fault

We've only just dropped into the bottom 3 on goal difference (albeit a terrible goal difference).
Hardly too late, 1 win and we're back in mid table.
Show some bollocks lad, although Coates is as much to blame as anyone if not more so but there's nearly half a season to get stuck into yet.

Coates rescued us from the Championship without his money we wouldn't have reached the premier league and in turn an FA Cup final and Europe. Coates took us back when we needed him after he was hounded out the club by us the fans - that took bollocks!

It's not to late. We've got bloody good players, we've got the greatest pool of centre halves we've seen in over a generation, we've got one of the best box to boz midfielders outside the top 6 in Joe Allen, we've got a bright young full back in Edwards, we've got the biggest airel threat in the league in Crouch, MBD in certain would play in goal if we asked him, there's a top class striker in Berahino somewhere, we've got Adam and Shaqiri who can make a goal from anywhere on the pitch.
It's not a bad time to be a Stoke fan. We are not a bad team. We need someone to inject heart and desire back into the team. We need someone who plays to the stength of the players we currently have not playing 3 at the back or the false 9 or Joe Allen in the no. 10 role or Mane Diouf at RWB.

Presumably not very judging by your comments. Peter Coates was hounded out in 1998 (the whys and wherefores are not relevant). His family were therefore understandably a little apprehensive about his return. Fortunately for us he did return and restored the pride back in the Potters (not to mention the wider benefits for the City). Hearing comments such as yours just might just stir some bad memories for him.....and you know what......who can blame if he said “fuck these ungrateful bastards” and sell out to the highest bidder (who will almost certainly be no fan of Stoke). Be a good chap and piss off eh before you and your ilk destroy this club. We have enough problems as it is.
