Jsut see a report that Liverpool may come in for Jack. If we get 30 M + would you take it and get two or three in to help save out Prem status? MBy all reports we might have to. My theory why Hughes has lasted so long is that we have players lined up already. Today's loss will put have put an enoermous spanner in the works as I assume the board felt that two faces before the shit away fisxture might have defected the critisicm and give Hughes more time. Shocking by the club Leslie should have gone months ago. We need someone to organise the team and give them kick up backside.Have to say Im impressed with how Moyes had got WH playing at the back as a unit , we need simalar. Sturridge on loan in Butland deal would be decent.

We have money to spend so don't need to sell him. He's our best player so it would be crazy. That been said with the world cup around the corner he may yet ask to leave and that would be a different story. First team football and at least double his wages with a shot at the world cup number one spot now Joe Hart isn't playing - who'd blame him???

Plus if we go down how much would we get for Jack.More money in the transfer now.

Yeh if Jack wants to go then let him. He's paid us in full and we should not stand in his way.
If he becomes Englands No1 we will still be proud of him and cheer him on.

Sadly I think Jacks sale in Jan is now inevitable. I’m sure whoever comes in will be told this. I’d be happy with Lee for the remainder of the season but if we get 30/40m for Jack we have to bloody use it not sit on it.
There’s plenty of football left before May and we’re not cut adrift
Next weeks decisions will be the biggest for years

Can we honestly say he's been in top form this season? His form had previously meant he was indispensable.... But I fear now a sizable offer on the way from Liverpool which could be difficult for the club to ignore.
Would love to see him stay for longer but I think he would want to progress now and all timing and events considered he could very well be off this Jan.

I would take the money if its £30m or more. Jack has not performed well this season- he has no authority in the air this season and in my opinion made a poor attempt at their second goal.

Yes because he will be gone at the end of the season anyway, and we cannot say Jack won us that point, the results would not of been any different with Grant,I would also send Zouma back.

Yes. We don’t have any budgeted monies available so 30 million would have to be reinvested, unless Coates wants the fans smashing up the boxes.

We need Butland more than anyone else.
if we are going to survive, he should be the last to go.

Grant is a good GK, If Butland has an offer with more than 50 millions, it will be better for the team to sell him and buy a new LB, RB, CDM

If O'Neill comes in I can see us selling Butland and giving Vinegar Tits a bit of coffee for Darren Randolph.
It wouldn't be the worst move if he is moving in the summer anyway, and it gives the new manager extra funds to play with now when we need it. Plus, a change in goal might do everyone a bit of good. Butland's confidence must be on the floor. A sale may do him good before the World Cup and a new voice behind a revamped back four might do us some good.
Not ideal by any stretch but it might just work out.

I have to say I don't think butland has been great this season. The amount of times he leaves defenders to clear his six yard box on corners is fighting. He should be claiming them all day. The 2nd goal today was very poor. Just doesn't seem to be the player I thought he was to be honest sadly.

We shouldn't need to sell Butland to finance this window. If a club comes in for him and makes an offer we can't refuse, I wouldn't begrudge him. But when our PL survival is on the line and a new manager is coming in, I'm sure there will be money to spend.
Butland will almost certainly move this summer; with a manager coming in and a battle on our hands, I've got no desire to accelerate that.

I don't think he's been that great this season. Seams be caught in two minds a lot of times, coming off his line, and coming for balls outside the box. Mind you ,know surprise with our defence

Jack's beginning to look shellshocked in this team and doesn't deserve it. We're making him look poor.

Can we sell Butland and survive though? We don’t need to sell him to survive, the owners need to fund it to survive. After years of trying to be cheap in the transfer market we have to splash some cash. God knows the Coates aren’t short of a few quid

No.
Coates has the money required, if we spend now either we stay up and we get a fortune for Jack in the summer or we go down and we get a fortune for Jack in the summer.Plus no doubt we would sell everything that moves.
