Been on a bit of a roll recently (not as much as the thread starter mind). Got it up to £186.84 from £25 since internationals started a few days ago. Can't see many selections to pick tonight so gone for Italy -1 Wales Spain -2 England U21s to win to nil £36.84 to return £119.67 Hi Haway, glad to see that you're still posting on The Oatcake even though your team are no longer in the Prem. Best wishes

Aged 34 is available on a free transfer from Man City according to press reports. He lives at Nether Alderley.
Just wondering if he could do a short term job for us ?

That's the best thing about being a Stoke fan... We are not popular enough for there to be a black market demand for counterfeit Stoke City goods .... that's why I'm hanging onto my genuine "Stoke Citee 1683 trayning top".

www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2017/toulouse-hoping-to-close-the-loan-signing-of-giannelli-imbula/Toulouse hoping to close the loan signing of Giannelli Imbula Toulouse are in advanced negotiations to sign French central midfielder Giannelli Imbula from Stoke City, according to SFR Sport. The player will make a definitive decision this morning, but TFC are worried that they get gazumped last minute by Lyon or Monaco. The Principality side had agreed personal terms with Imbula several weeks ago, but never followed up to close the deal. Now Toulouse are hoping to take advantage of this dawdling. ...... wow , three clubs after him now. Bring it on.

It's bizarre that our worst ever signing might be one of our best ever players. If that makes sense. ..... that doesn't make any sense to me.

2 weeks ago we were one of the media favorites to be relegated, along with Hughes be one of the favorites to be sacked first. Now we are 11/1 and 11th favorite to relegated. Mh is now 33/1 in the sack race. I have to say that is a similar thing with my optimism. Before the season I was a little worried how things would go this year. However I look at the squad we have now, the performances against everton and arsenal, things are looking much better. Still areas need improving but the basis is there. I have to commend the club for what's been done so far. Gooaaarrrrrnn stoke A much more optimistic stokie I'm sure that Benji will be delighted at the better odds for relegation. No doubt he will be re-mortgaging his house to lump a load more money on at 11/1.

Jesé + Saido could be a lethal combo? Wait till they get some training time together, the world cup quali gives us a break, with only a handful of players on international call up, could be a great cpl of weeks working on formations, getting to know each other, and Kabooooommmmmmm....Ready to explode. .... Kabooooommmmmmm ? Are we signing him too? The club shop better get some more "O" & "M's for the shirts, because Choupo Mooting has probably used up most of the by now.

I thought a German club may have fancied him but if Metz is the best his people can muster then I guess not. A bad egg that needed to go a while ago. Maybe the French league will be for him. The German and English certainly isn't. Seems to be just over the French-German border, very close to his hometown, so it's probably quite attractive to him. Good grief FM, not only are you a font of all knowledge relating to football, it now seems that you also have a Masters Degree in Geography !!!

I must have been living under a rock. Is this the league cup? Yes, it's the League Cup sponsored by a drinks company. When it was the Carling Cup, the winners used to get free booze. When it was called the Milk Cup the winners got free milk. Similarly, the winners of the FA cup get nothing ! I'll just get my coat.

This from Twitter (How do you capture the actual tweet and post it?) Stoke City FC stokecity 42s43 seconds ago MH: My understanding is we are very close to completing a deal for Bruno Martins Indi. All being well he'll be with us today. The deal needs to be done before midday for him to play tomorrow but that's not likely to be the case. We are still looking to bring in more players to freshen up the squad. (That's 3 tweets in one) CJ, You didn't get where you are today by putting 3 tweets into one !

She was the youngest ever presenter on Blue Peter her husband is actually called Karl she was pretty fit in the early days I haven't seen Blue Peter for decades and the only female presenter who's name I recall is Valerie Singleton. Valerie Singleton had a profound effect on me during my formative years.
