There's been loads over the years but as far as I'm concerned, Bojan would have been the ultimate in rehabilitation projects.
It was looking good for a while but fizzled with the injury.
Steino was a rehabilitation project at the time and look how he turned out. Bojan could have been him and some 😞

Annoyed that the money is heading into that snidey little fucker's pocket but if Jonny Evans is worth 30m, this could be some sound business.

Staying at Arsenal or moving elsewhere? Can't be many teams able or willing to shell out 40m.

Stoke - time to get back to intimidating these fuckers.
ShawX - give your ex manager a call after and tell HIM he's a fucking loser.
Jese, Ramadan & Choupo - now would be a great time to show us the love 😘

i paid a stupid amount to watch the main fight. Was impressed by MacGregor's guts but he's an amateur taking on a professional.
The first fight of the night was best for me in front if an empty stadium. Went to 10 rounds, the lad was down by 6 rounds, put the lad on his arse twice and still lost.
It was a good card underneath. How many watched it?

I don't know if the NHL rules have changed. Last I heard, the teams risk losing a timeout if the challenge is unsuccessful, so teams can only do it if they have a timeout remaining, and as timeouts reset every game, teams would are not constrained on a season basis. Maybe one unsuccessful challenge per game but unlike hockey the manager can not have access to video replay. Put the manager in the same position as the ref when he made the call. On that basis you would expect limited challenges unless the manager thought the ref had truly made a fuck up?

I know it isn't terrible but if it took the ref. a few minutes to review his decision it could some problems among fans and even the players. For the perfect call would be to make it like challenges in tennis where every team has a certain no. of challenges per halftime and only the team managers will have the right to ask for a challenge which will remove the pressure from the referee to doubt his decisions. My idea is to have a certain number of challenges per season. If the challenge is successful, it doesn't count against your allowed number of challenges. That discourages frivolous challenges but protects against the most incompetent referee decisions. Same as NHL?

They were in the third tier with us 20 years ago. We went down together on the final day of the season in a day of carnage at the Brit. It's shocking that our JCL's don't know this. A mad day finished off with a few pints in the Dunrobin. Work was not easy the next day

Advantage of old leather ball with stitching - if it was wet it never bounced or got away from you therefore easy to control Disadvantage - head it when wet and you'd ask the question whether to head the next one.

Everyone will be too hung over and knackered after staying up to watch Mayweather v Magregor 5 minutes and it'll be over. Feel sorry for the mugs who're paying £20 to watch it on Sky. 20 quid? It's fucking CAD$100 on pay per view over here. You're getting off lightly.

Over the fucking moon with the result.
As I said earlier, the season starts today and it did with a win and the type of determined, dogged performance we expect against these bastards.
Well done all, the team and the supporters for helping them through.

Most likely won't see the match so want to send my support, hope everyone is full of ale with a late kick off and hostile as hell.
Let the new boys be surprised by our atmosphere & may Wenger & Arsenal get back to what they are used to. A bruising encounter & dogs abuse throughout.
Vis unita fortior people, our season starts today!!

If the defence had given us their usual smattering of goals last year we would have been sitting pretty in 7th or 8th. We get fuck all from the defence these days

Correct me if I'm wrong on this but if you pay 20m for a player on a 5 year contract, the financial statements recognize a 4m hit per year?
That being the case, a 3m loan fee to rent Zouma for a year is good business.
Yes we will need to replace after 12 months and it would have been perfect if we had the option to buy but it's a lot better than shelling out 20m for a player that may be a flop.
I wish we had taken Imbula on loan. Jese may be the same gig, give us 10 good games then crawl up his arse when it gets cold. At least we will be paying wages for 28 wank games instead of 5 seasons.

Still in Europe - Oui On the pop - Oui Pulis - Non That makes sense then. Have a google of Colemans managerial career Don't need to google anything, I am referring to a point in time, when he was playing a defensive midfield role that Coleman put him in that he excelled at. I believe this is when Hughes thought if I get chance I'll get after that. I think it's the position he was bought for.

Did you not see the word 'defensive'? Yes and he's shit at that as well is Coleman. You'll be advocating Pulis back next. You must be still in Europe on the piss. Still in Europe - Oui On the pop - Oui Pulis - Non. The wine would taste like vinegar.

I'd let him go at 25m. Hughes fell in love with the player who did a sound job for Wales playing defensively and allowing Ramsey free reign in front of him. Clearly Coleman can do a better job coaching defensive responsibilities than Hughes. Feck me, you're saying Coleman is a better coach than Hughes? You should get back to watching Ice Hockey! Did you not see the word 'defensive'?

Why do we have to do this with a German club?
.......and what happened to having a proper reserve team with professionals fighting hard to get back into the starting eleven?
Do St Pauli play a similar formation to Stoke or employ similar training methods?
Is blooding players in the championship, league 1 & 2 or even Orlando not sexy enough?

Play 3-4-3 with the current squad and we will get fuckng battered.
This tinkering with formation is what caused us the issues last year.
