Should have at least replaced BMI.
If you can't get a shirt when every recognized CB is on the able its a sad state of affairs.

Yes he is a winger but 10 goals isn't a bad return.
Jezza - you are correct that the defences are poor. My post was more about letting anyone who is interested, given his Stoke connections, that he is doing well.
If you haven't seen the goal it worth doing a search. The angle he's got it in from is impressive and he puts his foot through it. If it had missed it would have been in the stand above the corner flag. He's backed himself completely, it would be nice if Berahino could get a piece of that confidence.

Got his 10th goal of the season for New York City at Montreal last night.
Absolute belter too.
Could do with a bit of that confidence in Mr Berahino.

I read an article that said Hughes was terrible at training as a player.
Maybe he feels that players shouldn't be pushed too hard in training and should be judged on what they do on match day?
Probably suits some players but not others.

Hats off to the man.
Works his bollocks off for the shirt in what must be an unusual position.

We were never going to get back into the game so Souttar should have been bought on. I made a comment on Facebook when it was suggested he played from the start. I take it back, he couldn't have done any worse. Some of our squad players are spent and should be released. Give youth a chance, it was a bonus game anyway

It'd be another kick in the teeth for lower league football and indeed clubs like us in the premier league How general rank and file football fans can think it's a good idea is beyond me What with this and U21 sides competing in competitive competitions v league sides it really is the thin end of the wedge Tell them to fuck off as when those pair of cunts have long left our shores with bucket loads of cash they won't give a shit about our great league structure and competitions END OF THREAD IMO. Cheers Wez To think I imagine us winning it then winning the Europa which is Champions League IN! We win the Champions League also boys, my dreams come true! Who the fuck are these guys rubbishing our Football League Trophy. The Liverpool cock in my pub here in Canada who bet me 500 bucks we will go down this season dislikes the League cup as well. The same dumb fook who was giving it large after the penalties. If he didnt care about it why was he at pub for both legs of the Semi? I think if was not put out to tender to any fucker sponsor would give it a bit more legitimacy in the current market, why not call it The Football League Cup sponsored by whoever... Its a shame this thread even started OI! by the way PEP You drink beer with someone who will steal it when you go for a piss?

It's disgusting how the cup competitions have been devalued over the years. Premier league and now even lower league teams giving a rest to their first team because their little darlings can't handle two matches a week. Without the cups, teams like Stoke have nothing left but a constant fight against the drop. How depressing is that thought? Champions League should be fought out between Champions and go back to being knockout. All it does is feed the top 4 with more cash to maintain their top 4 existence and give the rest of us no chance of catching them over a 38 game season. I don't watch the games and haven't watched the final in years.

I thought I would be be more upset after last night, for some reason I am not, deep down I expected it, I bet quite a few were not surprised by last nights result also. I expected us to get beat but doesn't mean I'm not thoroughly pissed off and embarrassed about it. Their reserve team have now taken two premiership scalps and they look like a club on the up. Walked the third tier a couple of years back, had struggles with managers since but are now playing a system, clearly defined for both the first team and the reserves to enable them to make 9 changes without a problem. That's two good mates over here who now have bragging rights when they shouldn't, the other being a Wolves fan

Hey up, all you Aussie Stokies.......isn't this a great idea!!?? Shouldn't we Aussies have something like it!!?? Not a Maple Leaf of course.....but surely someone can come up with a design? And surely there's the technology 'Down Under' to have them made? If not, perhaps Greenhoff Days can let us know the details? Thoughts, anyone?? Just wear it upside down 😜

From the BBC text lines 'I'm currently sitting in the North Bank, diagonally opposite the away end, yet seem to be surrounded almost entirely by Cologne fans. Not sure how that's been allowed to happen' Peter, at the Emirates'Shades of the 70's I so hope Koln score so we can see just how many are in there, also I hope they score cause it's arsenal obviously. I hope they score 3, open the doors to let Arsenal fans out and the rest of the Germans flood in

I put it on par with Millwall's 'No-one likes us, we don't care'. Everyone hates the Shit, they know it and stick two fingers up to everyone. The fact that they sing it knocks one song out of our limited repertoire

I can understand the reasons for wanting Crouch in but he'd be isolated and we would have no outlet from the pressure. Has to be Berahino up top with Diouf to replace on 60 minutes. We need to give them something to think about and those two have the pace to get behind them.
Ramadan to start to give us a chance of creating something on the right and we'll bring Cameron on at 70 minutes when we are 2-0 up.

Why didn't they go the whole hog, and stop the big clubs from signing the best players, or reduce how many they can sign!. Just had a manure fan on the park near us, full of himself, reckons Lukaku is nailed on for a hat trick Saturday! Should have bet the fucker 100 quid then punched him Sunday when you pick the winnings up

On our way to a Stoke away game travelling from Portsmouth, think it was Leicester, got to near Reading and found out the game had been called off due to too much rain so we went and watched Reading v Chesterfield, sat with the Chesterfield fans, some of whom thought it would be fun to start filling each other in, more entertaining than the match to be fair. Would that have been late 80's by any chance? If so, a few of us, including one or two notables, went up to Manchester, met up with Villa and headed to Maine Road. Not the best idea, by the end of it said notables had us in in a little bother with both Villa and Man City fans. Sheffield Wednesday v Chelsea - Sunday lunchtime decision to head over the Peak District West Brom v Chelsea (Chelsea promotion party) from Div 2 Rangers v Dundee United - went up there to sell a load of tickets that a friend had got lumbered with when Stoke Rangers Supporters Club left him high and dry. Weird thing was, Notables mentioned earlier with in with Dundee United fans and Delilah was being belted out. Berwick Rangers v fuck knows who in about 1979 Canada v St Kitts & Nevis

Good watch.
Some people are really spoiling football for the clubs, players and supporters.
The answer is simple, limit agent fees to an amount per transaction basis paid from the transfer fee.
Watch how many players are allowed to move then.
