Was posted before, but I cant be arsed to trawl through numerous pages, and with a week to go worth mentioning again.
Seems McGreggor has put in some tremendous work training, there is no doubting his fitness, but boxing skills seem to have been improved, with some saying his killer left jab could cause Mayweather some real problems.
I still can't see past a Mayweather result, but a lot closer than originally predicted.
Has anyone subscribed, or is it just too pricey.

Mayweather all the way for me, I can't really be arsed with it, but as it's free on IPTV, I may get up/stay up at 4am to watch it.
Errr, on my friends box, I only have a Freeview box with as BBC License

I was going to watch it with my mate and a few beers, but it might not be on til 5 or 6 in the morning and I'm fucked if I'm waiting that long. Been quite impressed with McGregor in sparring, but still have to favour Floyd. If it was in the octagon, I'd put my house on the Irishman.

49 professional boxers, some of them top class professsional boxers, couldn't land a glove on Mayweather, but some fella who's been boxing for two months is going to knock him out?
The only question is have they paid Mayweather enough money for it to go passed the first round? Personal opinion is yes, yes they have, infact I reckon they've paid him so much that he'll drag it out for 12 rounds & let it go to points, then they can both earn even more money for a re-match.

The fact that McGregor isn't a 'conventional' boxer may be a problem for Mayweather. He'll be trying things that Floyd has never come across before, in a style that he's not seen before.
Add in the fact that MMA is a less 'tactical' affair than Boxing...I think that if McGregor stays sensible, he could make life awkward for Floyd.

Nailed on it will go on a bit mate. Mayweather is sponsored by some fantastic companies so the longer it goes the more he gets paid. He will toy with him for 8 rounds then take him out when he's bored around 9/10

I really hope that that's the plan, only for McGregor to flatten him in the 3rd round a-la Mickey The Pikey from Snatch.

Total farce of a fight and one that Shouldn't be sanctioned. McGregor hasn't got any chance whatsoever. It ends when Floyd decides stop playing with him. 49 fighters have tried to land clean on Floyd. A couple landed and then got a major beatdown. Even at 40 he is far too good for a MMA fighter

People are saying Mayweather has no power, but he turned Canelo's head round a few times and he's bull necked.

1.30 odds for Mayweather is an absolute steal in my opinion. I just can't see how he will lose this fight as others have said.
Should be at 1.10 at most. I'll definitely be laying on that as I think it's as much of a banker as you're ever likely to see.

I'm no fan of Mayweather as a bloke but here's just some of the names that have failed to beat him... Manny Pacquiao Marcos Maidana Saul Alvarez Miguel Cotto Shane Mosley Juan Manuel Marquez Ricky Hatton Oscar De La Hoya Zab Judah Arturo Gatti ... and that's just some 'names', it's not even all of the World Champions he has beaten! Yes, he is getting on and has had 2 years out of the ring, but his hand speed, timing, movement and reactions will have to have deserted him for McGregor to even have a hope of landing a glove on him. The odds are laughable - on the same card Badou Jack is a shorter price to beat Nathan Cleverley than Mayweather is to win. Now I'm not saying I would weigh into Cleverley to beat Jack, but I would rather back two time world champion Cleverly to upset the odds than back McGregor. I mentioned on the earlier threaad that has disappeared that, from the little bit I've seen of McGregor, the way he can hang his chin out, he might be right about it being an early night, just not with the result he is expecting! That said, he has size and youth and, if he has any sense, will be as unorthodox as possible. He clearly has some power in his gloves, but some of the names above could throw a punch as well.

Not long now for the Irishman to have a boxing lesson from the best in the game. 100 million dollars richer. They both win.

I think Mayweather will frustrate the fuck out of him. He's getting on a bit and Conor has that punchers chance that anyone has. I want McGregor to win, but what I've learnt from watching boxing is never ever bet against Money Mayweather.

I don't like Mayweather the man and I would love to see the arrogant tool knocked spark out but he will go down as one of the best fighters in history never mind his generation and some are expecting a man who's never stepped into a boxing ring to do what 49 others, some of them the best of this generation, couldn't do, if Connor wins it's the biggest shock in boxing history bar none, you wouldn't expect the milkman's horse to win the derby and that is more likely than Mayweather losing this fight.
I will concede Floyd has waited with some opponents to ensure he wins easier than expected, by that I mean he wanted his opponent to be just the wrong side of the curve but who wouldn't if you had the same opportunities.

its just a ridiculous spectacle to make rich men even richer, I cant stand McGregor at all, Im not a fan of Mayweathers style of boxing although I can appreciate its brilliance
there can only be one result though, Mayweather will drive him mad by making him miss, then the longer it goes on he will pick McGregor off

It's one thing to switch from UFC to fighting a professional boxer but it's something else completely to fight one of the best defensive boxers of all time in your 1st boxing match.
