We can play ok without Shawcross We have very little firepower Mame Diouf and Choupo-Moting should be nowhere near the first team Xherdan Shaqiri will be crucial in our run in Charlie Adam looks less fit than he has ever done Moritz Bauer is a steal Geoff Cameron needs to play in midfield Badau Ndiaye is a very god player Tyrese Campbell is nowhere near good enough for the first team at the moment A decent point SGS Agree but harsh on Campbell. Can't write him off after 25 mins. Seemed a bit star struck to me, should have got in some better positions but seemed much more likely to score than Bera.

Despite the dicking today I thought Bony showed promise. Needs some match fitness but held the ball up well, showed a touch and wasn't shy to shoot, which makes a change! Get someone close to him that he can play off and he'll do well, like he did with Sigurdson at Swansea.

Let's not kid ourselves. We are a very, very poor side. We've taken way, way too many 4-0 hammerings. We are very broken right now, you simply can't take that many beatings without real damage being done to the group of players. Don't let the injuries, "tough fixtures" and "poor reffing" excuse the facts. I honestly think we have to start thinking about a mutual parting of the ways between SCFC and LMH. We are in desperate need of a different approach and I just can't see us getting out of this stall under the current management, great as Sparky has been this current side reminds me way to much of Villa As what happened with TP, we've got the players and backing from the board to take us to the next level, but MH doesn't seem to have the capability IMO. If not Hughes who though?

He can't be far off a dreaded vote of confidence can he? He's doing a monumentally shit job at the moment and has been since Christmas! Coates isn't daft, surely he's worried about what's happening.

We're a mid table team who's struggling at the minute.
If Hughes was to go we would have to go abroad. Given the new sky money, we aren't rich anymore. There's no current, or ex Prem manager who'd take it on.

Realistically, who else could we get who'd do a better job?
I thought TP was stubborn. Hughes tops it with his tippy tappy way of playing. No clue when we go 1 down which has scarily happened a lot this year.
Bony is quality in the air and around the 6 yard box. Play to his strengths, get the ball in the box, only happened 2/3 times today

A massive part of the problem today. The midfield including him were AWOL. He'd go galavanting up the pitch, Imbula would mill around doing God knows what leaving Whelan on his own or out of position and their attackers to run at our defence unhindered. The midfield today (all of them) were an absolute disgrace and did nothing to protect the back 4. It just took one ball most of the time to render Allen and Imbula useless. That's not good enough. It's piss poor planning and the discipline shown was shambolic. I don't think any of the midfield 3, when consisting of Whelan, Imbula and Allen know the job they're meant to be doing. All too similar. When Bojan is in the team the roles are obvious. Comes down to poor management imo. Allen was MOM for me today. Covered every blade and seemed the only one to give a shit

Regarding the defensive side, surely it depends where he's meant to be playing? Is he in a midfield 3, or as a number 10? The whole midfield seem clueless.

Still think we will come good
He's the only player we have thats willing to run with the ball and drive forward
Massively lacking confidence along with the other 10

Don't agree with this. There's only so much a keeper can do with an absolute shithouse defence. 3 out of the 4 saves Butland saves IMO Given controls the ball like I control my drinking...not very well Poor for the 2nd and 3rd goal. He's not a starter, sound for back up, playing cup games etc but we desperately need Jack back and fit.

One win in 13 No clean sheet in 20 Four goal hammerings on a regular basis Can't create much, can't score many, can't defend, Awful set pieces at both ends of the park, No pace, no width, and absolutely no heart. Yeah let's get some perspective. I don't care where we've finished in the last three seasons were in it up to our necks. Can Hughes sort it?......Im not so sure, he really appears to have lost his way. It coincides with Imbula becoming a regular in the first team I know it also coincides with Butlands and Johnson's injuries. But Imbula looks like a luxury player we cannot afford to have in the team at present. Don't think Imbula is the issue, he's got class. He's done just as good a job as Zonz did in a poor midfield. MH is struggling to get his A plan together, nevermind any sort of B plan

Bony looked decent. Not scared to shoot and held it up well. Needs service and people around him
Indi looked good. Composed, good positioning, good in the tackle and strong. Massive upgrade on Wolly.
