We can play ok without Shawcross We have very little firepower Mame Diouf and Choupo-Moting should be nowhere near the first team Xherdan Shaqiri will be crucial in our run in Charlie Adam looks less fit than he has ever done Moritz Bauer is a steal Geoff Cameron needs to play in midfield Badau Ndiaye is a very god player Tyrese Campbell is nowhere near good enough for the first team at the moment
A decent point
SGS

Next week, I would keep the team that played today but I would do the following (assuming Shawcross is still out) Replace Choupo with Sobhi Replace Diouf with Jese Replace Campbell with Berahino SGS

I'm not a big fan of Diouf but he didn't have much service today. I'm not convinced that Jese or Berahino would do any better.

We learned that Lambert can organise a side far greater than Hughes ever could and we also learned that our ex manager was stealing a living in this regard, for far too long.

Mama Diouf is a better wing back than striker.
We can't really accommodate both Shaq and Chopper as potential 'game changers' as starters at the moment.
Joe Allen is my own personal Jesus.
And other stuff.
I like Lamb.

The three new signings are fine.
All the strikers are a problem.
BMI is a bloody great defender.
Charlie is unfortunately finished.

Agree with all points other than I'm not entirely convinced about Badou yet. Better than what we have yes, but has gone missing in the last two games. Doesn't look as good a player as Imbula did at this stage.

Ma lady makes a good steak and onions^
We're going to be the first team ever to relegate themselves with stupid mistakes.
Paul Lambert does a good impression of a Leicester player^
If we can draw home and away with Leicester then maybe we're not such a poor little Stoke City and might just drag our sorry arses out of the mire.

Needs to learn to be a bit stronger against big centre backs, but his running the line was great. Just needed playing in earlier on a couple of occasions.

We still have pretty much zero attacking threat.
Stafylidis is good.
Lambert is worse at subs than Hughes.

Don't forget to mention Stafy! Had a great game I thought - Hope we can get him permanently
EDIT: Hope we can get him permanently based on todays appearance. If the rest of his games are on a par.

Just got home after an enjoyable day.
I do think we are improving. Second half I was starting to relax when they scored.
Shaq has his best game to date.
Why didn’t we buy a big lump of a centre forward in January. We need someone to hold up the ball.

We've won 6 points against the same teams that Hughes won 6 points against.

We learned that there is life after Erik Pieters. Stafylidis could do well for us, especially if Choupo actually begins to see that it is his job to track back. We learned that Glen Johnson still has a part to play and in six minutes he did not make a mistake. We learned that Shaqiri is a gifted right foot player. We learned that Lambert has no idea why he substitutes player.

Can't write him off after 25 mins. Seemed a bit star struck to me, should have got in some better positions but seemed much more likely to score than Bera.
