No.
Bony had no service and Indi was hopelessly exposed time and again.

Yes, we've kickstarted Harry Kane's goalscoring for the season. Good news for England.

No - We were fucking dreadful. We created virtually nothing going forward, were second best in midfield and looked wide open at the back. Add to that we lacked any coherent shape, no one showed any fight and we just rolled over when we went behind. Yes, Spurs are a good team, but we didn't even try.
Bony was starved up top and Indi was chucked in at the deep end.

He was ok for his 5 minutes, better than Imbula Bollocks was he. He looked like he preseasoned on Guiness and Wrights Pies. He came on and gave the ball away culminating in that laughable corner routine at the end. He was utter dog shit and unprofessional.

First 45 we were unlucky not to be 2-0 up if not for some inept refereeing. Once they got two you are chasing the game and it's hard to get that momentum going. It was not nearly as bad as being suggested on here.

Allen worked his cotton socks off, all over the pitch.
Bony looked good in the first half, his ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play is very, very good, shame though when he looks to his right and sees Jonathon Walters there on a totally different wave length.

He was ok for his 5 minutes, better than Imbula I agree ... I think Sparky loathes being forced to wheel out an ageing Charlie Adam ...because he knows it means his new boy doesn't have the fight or the bottle Charlie his past it but at least he cares and tries to pass the ball quickly and effectively

JOE ALLEN
Looked like the only player on the pitch who gave a fuck.
If you get a chance to see it back there is a part of play where we lose the ball in their half and they attack towards the Boothen. Allen sprints from their 12 yard area back to ours and puts in a cracking tackle.
Watch him without the ball as he is just as good with it.

Walters just looked washed out to me. I think his days playing at this level are over, and he knows it.

Must be how my mate feels in my team, he's a sublime dribbler and has eyes in the back of his head, but then he passes the ball to me and I normally end up tripping over it or launching it into orbit. It can't be any good for morale when you're playing alongside plainly incompetent players.

Allen worked his socks off alright. His performance was reminiscent of a dean whitehead one. He worked far too hard, tear arsing all over the pitch to zero effect. How much of that is due to him trying to make up for his colleagues lack of effort and energy and how much was down to a complete lack of any positional understanding and discipline is open to debate.

Spot on mate.
I said to my lad at the time ... "look at Allen busting a gut sprinting back there" and sure enough it was he who (who having ran the full length of the pitch) put the block in.
Absolutely brilliant effort from the lad.

It was also him that dived in ridiculously on Erikson, costing us the first goal in the process. He did give a shit though, I'll give you that. Brilliant effort? No arguments. Brilliant performance? I'm not so sure myself.

What Salop said. We were well in the game at half time and had Shawcross been a little luckier, we could have pulled level early in the second half. I didn't think Spurs looked that great if I'm being honest, but once the second goal went in, we collapsed....and that's worrying in that it's happening frequently.
I thought Imbula started well and had a decent first half, as did Allen. Peiters was a little better than he's been in recent weeks, but still way below his best and although Shawcross made a couple of big errors, he's at least starting to look fitter and stronger than he has for a while. Indi did ok in difficult circumstances, and Bony showed some decent glimpses in the first half but looks way off fully match fit.
The were certainly more concerns than there were positives, but the first half saw little between the two teams.

More game time into Ryan, Bruno and Wilfred. Things will change keep the faith. Mark and his team know it's not good at the moment.

We've found Walters is past it, Whelan is no longer a 90min CDM and Ryan can't depend on the midfield and our Fullbacks are made of glass. Other than than not much in good things.

I'm positive that our back four needs a revamp. Shawcross is nothing like the player he has been, will he get back to his best? Fullbacks need replacing. Bruno looks good, shame his first game was a 4-0 defeat, I don't think he deserved that.

Positive Walters shouldn't even be nice the squad let alone the team
Positive Imbula needs to be dropped until he learns to defend
Positive Cameron isn't a right back
So three positives from a match we lost 4-0
