If it was for diving, then Son should have been dismissed by that point. If it was for dissent, then we are the only club in the country to whom that rule applies. We have now had three bookings and a manager dismissed, while nobody else in the country has even been warned about getting a yellow! Whichever it was, it just highlights the ineptitude of today's officials. Let's see what MOTD make of it 😉

Every team needs a 'Whelan'
Thought Imbula was OK today. Drove us forward at times. He's massively lacking confidence, like a fair few at the minute.
Agree about Walters. Utter gash. Why spend 5m on an exciting prospect if your scared to play him?

I'm on the fence. Mainly because I can't think of another manager who would be available/willing to come Edit - or who would do a 'better' job TBH so am I, but other teams have taken a gamble on foreign managers and most of them have come here and done a decent job, but one things for sure things can't be allowed to continue the way they are. Hughes has got to either do something about it or Coates will have to. Gouranga. Coates isn't one to act quickly, which in this situation might cost him (us). Time to worry IMO

From the beeb -
'The Welshman was sent to the stands by referee Anthony Taylor shortly before Spurs' 41st-minute opener after reacting angrily to what he thought was a foul on Jon Walters and a yellow card given to Marko Arnautovic for diving.'

We've been struggling since February. That's a half marathon. Things need to change and soon. And maybe that is the management team. Gouranga. I'm on the fence. Mainly because I can't think of another manager who would be available/willing to come Edit - or who would do a 'better' job

One win in 13 No clean sheet in 20 Four goal hammerings on a regular basis Can't create much, can't score many, can't defend, Awful set pieces at both ends of the park, No pace, no width, and absolutely no heart. Yeah let's get some perspective. I don't care where we've finished in the last three seasons were in it up to our necks. Can Hughes sort it?......Im not so sure, he really appears to have lost his way. Scarily true It's naive to think we ain't in the shit.

Given - 3. 2nd goal was straight at him, shocking with the ball at his feet
Cameron - 6 Shawcross - 6 Indi - 7. Showed promise. Good positioning and showed some strength Pieters - 6. Some good delivery for a change
Whelan - 4 Allen - 7. MOM. Covered every blade, seemed to be the only one to give a fuck Imbula - 6. Best game for a while. Got on the ball and drove forward which has been lacking
Walters - 2. Surely his last start on the right? Shocking Bony - 6 . Showed promise. Good hold up play. Needs someone to play alongside with Arnie - 6
On a side note, why not bring Ramadan on for half an hour. No pressure, prime time to give him some minutes.
Strange game. Was never a 4-0er, 2 quick goals 2nd half screwed us.

Or maybe over/under 3.5 which brings a better profit if the shortest odds come in

Think I'm going for £50 pre match btts in the first half no returning £59 then btts in the first half yes returning £225.
Not much profit if both teams don't score in the 1st half but worth the risk.

Have we actually missed Adam? I don't think so. We've missed him coming off the bench imo.
