If he really wants to leave then the management should set with him and ask him if it's for better salary then we should negotiate increasing his salary by a reasonable amount. If not and he insists that he leaves then ask him and WH for a delay till January. So, that we can evaluate our options or at least gain some time to integrate Sobhi while we still have Arni. If he wants to leave for more money he should be told to fuck off He was happy to sign a 4 million a year contract less than a year ago the money grabbing arsehole And him fucking off will solve what?. We're in a new era of football an awful one but we should decide to either stay sentimental and hold on to the principals of the old days when players were not swayed by money and fame or get along with knowing that now money and fame is what the majority of the players seek and want. Football as we know it is coming to an end and now it's just like any business and only the fans that are loyal.

Was the filming before or after he joined Stoke? Since pranks like that could put a physical stress on him or worse cause any sort of injures.

Is he really that good? with the players Dortmund have they shouldn't be so far off Bayern if you ask me. Spalletti has been sacked by Roma today and they finished 2nd behind a great Juve side and ahead of Napoli who are a good side. Spalletti himself said that if he can make Roma win any title this season then he will exit the club. So, it could be an agreement between him and the management and it's said that inter made him an offer.

if we can bring in a better manager then yes he can go, if not then what's the point of him leaving.

He did some mistakes but we were slightly the better side sure may be they had a couple of good chances but the most dangerous ones were ours.

I think that there is an issue with Sobhi It seems to me that Hughes is punishing him for some kind of internal matter and hes keeping him out of the squad I cannot think of any other explanation, hes not injured . Just my thoughts Not internal, I guess it's all about his mistakes in Chelsea game their two goals were indirectly his fault. Hughes has every right to punish him but that is taking it too far.

Shaqiri

I agree & disagree with Townsend. When Shaqiri is on the pitch, to use an old cliché, he can change a game in an instant, so even in games where he 'hides' it only takes that one bit of skill from him to turn a game on it's head. The problem comes in that we only ever get to see him for 3 or 4 games before he is out 'injured' for another 5 or 6 games. If we could guarantee 30-35 games per season out of him he'd be a massive, massive asset to us & we'd be taking direct aim at those European places... The problems arise when we can only see him in action for 15-20 games. Can a club in our position afford that? I guarantee you that if he could play 20 to 25 games per season he won't be here with us. I'm not happy with his injures but if they are keeping him here then so be it.

He won't drop Walters after his goal against Liverpool. My guess he'll start the same line up but will replace Allen by Adam, Whelan or Muniesa.

Him not starting yesterday could be understandable since we had Shaq on the right not in no 10 but to wait 9 or 10 min after their second goal to sub him was idiotic from Hughes.

Grant followed by BMI. Allen was great but in the last 2 or 3 months he was like a hyper child too much energy wasted on nothing useful.

Now we can put "he was resting Ramadan at Burnley" excuse to rest. Still better than starting both Crouch and Walters together.

He can beat a man He can cross Hes good defensively He doesnt like to shoot Putting him at number 10 nullifies many of his abilities. Im sure he could play there but he's naturally a winger. We have the 2 wing positions sorted so lets not mess with them and put more square pegs into round shaped holes One of the most important skills required from no 10 player is shooting which Ramadan sadly lacks or at least never showed if he find his shoot he will be very good as no 10. We have to make do with what we have till the summer or play shaq when fit or in hopeless scenarios we can try Arni

Our problems are still the same we're not trying to shoot from outside the box (only Charlie Adam tried) our full backs are very slow to pick a pass same for our two CM which force the four player up front to fall back and finally defense marking and positioning. We at least in dire need to find a solution to our slow passing problem to pick up the pace which will help us on both defense and offense.

Ibrahim Affelay has all the qualities needed to be our main playmaker He was excellent before his injury and there is no reason why he cannot play a key role next season. I would go for James McCarthy from Everton (surely available in the summer)to form a solid hardworking base with Allen behind Affelay as the number 10. I am at a loss to understand why Affelay cannot get to start in midfield at the moment as he is able to pick as pass and is undoubtedly a class player. Affelay has both talent and vision but when it comes to passing he is very reluctant to release the ball

We loss Hughes out we win Hughes out we draw Hughes out. What can he do to gain your acceptance?!!! Wouldn't give ramadan a chance until 2 weeks ago Wont drop shawcross Wont give berahino more than 10 minutes of the field after costing 15M Imbula wasted at 18M Has afalley on the bench yet insists on playing whelan Bony has been non existent 4-0 drummings about 5 times this season Playing 5 in defence at home. shall i give you some more reasons? Maybe Ramadan is doing well because of a good managing from Hughes. Shawcross isn't that good but his replacement isn't that good either. When was the last game Berahino started or Hughes should just play him regardless though he should subbed him in earlier Can't argue with the Imbula point or the Afalley points. Bony!! really. Many chances given with no reward. Bar last game and Crystal match the other three were not that awful (he picked a good team that failed to deliver)

He tried but with our defense and two halves always passing the ball either to each other or Grant rather than passing it forward to catch their players out of position or to pickup the pace you can't expect him to do much.

Sobhi needs to start consistently now to further improve his confidence on the ball. No doubt has the highest ceiling of all Stoke players. what does 'the highest ceiling' mean?? I think he means highest potential development wise

I watched some of the AfCoN games and he walks into that Egypt team. I could walk into that Egypt team. He only started one game though which he played for just over an hour, then was coming off the bench for 20 minutes/half an hour at a time I know they rave about him in Egypt, but if he was that good surely he'd be a key player, and one of the first on the team sheet? He is a key player when Egypt is losing the game or going forward is the priority since Cooper play a closed game by tightening the defense and playing long balls which is why Ramadan doesn't start since his replacement is more suitable for this style of gameplay.

Sobhi goes on the pitch before he does proven at the top class - part of a squad that went to the AFCON final move Arnie to the right to make room absolute 'no brainer' why wouldnt you ? - is the more sensible question Why not give Sobhi a run on the right flank, he is still young and he played in that position a little bit with his old team Alahly as shown in his clips

If he can't start in that side, what exactly makes people believe he should be starting for us? He doesn't start in that side because he doesn't play with us

Are'nt our players physical and muscular endurance measured and analyzed routinely to adjust the training regime for each player to avoid that kind of regular injury?
