Arsenal were rumoured to be interested in him.

Is he really that good? with the players Dortmund have they shouldn't be so far off Bayern if you ask me. Spalletti has been sacked by Roma today and they finished 2nd behind a great Juve side and ahead of Napoli who are a good side.

There must be a reason (apart from Ferguson) the most successful managers in the Prem have been Italian. But I don't know what it is.

It's all the pasta, great carbs for energy, they must force feed it to the players

Seems a bit odd...
I don't get the Spaletti sacking though. Roma have earned more Serie A points and scored more league goals than any other Roma side in history!
How can his sacking be justified?

Am I right in saying Allegri (Juve) has been the manager strongly linked with Arsenal recently? If so, you could possibly see Juve allowing him to go if it means Spalletti can take over and carry on the good work.. all depends on Wenger though obviously.

I think Spaletti has fallen out with the suits more often than not.
His decision to underplay Totti since he returned to the club as manager hasn't gone down well either.
I think anyway his contract was up so I think if anything it isnt a sacking but rather early confirmation that it wouldn't be renewed.

Wenger has signed a new contract so my theory is irrelevant.

Spalletti has been sacked by Roma today and they finished 2nd behind a great Juve side and ahead of Napoli who are a good side. Spalletti himself said that if he can make Roma win any title this season then he will exit the club. So, it could be an agreement between him and the management and it's said that inter made him an offer.
