Totally agree, very good player, sadly I can see a bigger club than us wanting him. Who though? If Spurs don't want to keep him, the only club much bigger than us left is Everton. They could be a possibility but barring them I can't see what options he'd have in this country. I think He's good enough for Everton, Liverpool and Villa perhaps, but they've bought a left back. You're right they aren't many, perhaps we could get him. I hated him when he played at the Brit but would love to see him down Stoke. Can't see why Spurs would let him leave tbh.

Rose has impressed me almost everytime I've seen him play and I have seen him play seveveral times! Think he will go on to make the left back position his in the national side too one day. Totally agree, very good player, sadly I can see a bigger club than us wanting him.

This although is far more realistic (although out of date) than the '100m we've blown' that gets rolled out all the time.
Suprised me we're not that far from 8th though.

It frustrates me when centrehalfs 'hoof it' for no good reason when they have time, but to say that was always TP's fault and he orders it is unfair. I've/we've all seen to Pulis go mad when they have just hoofed it too. Clear under pressure yes, 'hoof it' not always.
Anyways we have a new era now so lets move on and see what happens next season.

Didn't think he signed one long ago though.

Or 800 more passes contributed to Fulham's 49 goals to our 34. Depends which way you you want to look at it. Yep. Just because every pass doesn't directly create a chance doesn't mean it's wasted. I agree with you both, just making a case for stats are difficult prove anything on 2 players in 11 man team. Hence, question mark.

800+ more passes, 1 less chance created!

Yes RAF I do know, as I do know Tony, however I would/will never ever put any info/conversations on here, other than TP has tried his best with him. I also stand by my comment that I don't see why he deserves another chance, however I would love to see Pennant running down the wing, but only if it was no detriment to the side on or off the pitch. That's up to Hughes, if he gives him another go and he doesn't upset the apple cart again, great. So you don't actually know anything other than what Tony Pulis has allegedly told you which you won't discuss? Fair enough, I happen to think Pennant is a cock, but a talented one which Pulis didn't have a clue how to manage, and the only way he could do that was to drop him and send him out on loan. It doesn't matter now, as Hughesy will either say yay or nay, but I'd rather see Pennant on the wing than Ryan Shotton or Jon Walters any time of the year and if the reason people don't want him to play is because he's been done for d and d a few times I'm sure they must have had banners outside the Brit when Periwinkle returned tagged up from Prison? H Well I do trust what he told me is true, but I wished I had never put 'I know' as I have never divulged anything he has ever told me and never would. I think most people would like to see him play if under control having said that most would also see an equal player in instead with no baggage.

Trouble with taking Pennant is he'll take up the right wing slot while he has another fresh start, then after deadline day he'll break a club rule get frozen out again then we'll have Shotton at right mid! I know that Pulis tried his best with him, so don't see why he deserves 'another chance'. You know Pulis tried his best with him do you? All we know is the very little that was reported in the press and on twatter about the fallings out. Nothing was actually confirmed apart from he got done for drink driving, while a lot of people on here were calling him woman beating scum for another incident that night, which he was totally exonerated from. Let's face it none of us know what went on, and with the chairman seemingly on board with the idea then maybe, just maybe TP didn't actually try his best and had washed his hands of Pennant well before we thought he had. Anyway for me , I don't see why giving him a years contract and using him as a back up is a bad idea? H Yes RAF I do know, as I do know Tony, however I would/will never ever put any info/conversations on here, other than TP has tried his best with him. Yes he'll know all our players pretty well. That was his job before coming here anyway. I dare say he's seen enough Stoke games already to have a good idea. I presume he'll make no huge decisions on players though, until he's spoken and seen them train.

Because he was supposedly an arrogant f**cker with the England squad. Had frustration that England internationals couldn't do with the ball that he could at his age, so imagine him with our lot.

The only lure to Everton is they do have an annual turnover £15 million more than us, and do spend most of the extra on wages. Having said that they will soon need to invest loads on a stadium.
