Strong rumours coming out of merseyside are that everton are set to reveal there new manager, which will be from within the club. Great news for stoke as that means the way has been cleared for us to get our man.. Martinez!!
A post on Everton rumour site.....
28 May 2013 15:14:05 Sorry guys, the bookie here. some of you will have seen my posts last week! I know I said Monday and it didn't happen, I still stand by the information I gave you that Stubbs will be announced soon. Another slice to add is Carraghers brother just placed a hefty bet on Stubbs being next boss. I'd keep backing it if I were you lot. Cheers

Not convinced RM would be the man for it. his win rate is only 25% and i know people will say he had no cash but if it is him great lets back him or whoever else it is. Never know PC may pull off a coup and all be happy

If Martinez sats at wigan and they dont come up his cv will look pretty poor. Relegation manager and championship manager. Dont forget, the wolves are circling for his best players and if he doesnt keep them, he will definitelye will not come back up. If he stays at wigan, he will not manage in the prem for a good while.

Sorry about my last posts grammar...The rumours are for Alan Stubbs and Phil Neville as they want to try and carry on the work of th previous manager. Everton have no money. Come on stoke, get Martinez.

Come on stoke, get Martinez. Martinez couldn't organise a party in Burton On Trent, let alone a defence - praying that Whelan slips him enough to stay on there, or maybe Malaga need a new coach

Martinez would be a brilliant choice for us, imo. We have the solid defence, and we have players that are capable of passing the ball around, so with a good assistant to Martinez we could see some exciting football as well as a good finish to next season.

The source. Apparently a radio presenter in the merseyside area let it slip. Everton will be promoting from within for there new manager. When you have no money, your choices are limited. It makes sense for them really. Let me try and get more info... name of presenter, etc.

Fellini rumoured to be wanted by Moyes at Man Urd for £24M so if true Everton would have a bob or three to spend. Personally I'd have Martinez to organise the front players and Steve Bould organising the back.

Just been reading...Martinez had one of the lowest net spends in the premiership... He had his two first choice centre halves injured for most of the season. Lets think now...where would stoke have finished with Huth and Shawcross injured at the same time for most of the season.....eeerrmmm...Bottom. Martinez is the boy doing a mans job, Martinez is the coach we are looking for and Martinez could be our man. Come on stoke!!

Im not sure what to make of that Martinez for me also if Rafa's a no go, he has said his preference is youth as have we, and our academy is apparently number one in the country at the moment. With a defensively astute assistant why not? If hes considered good enough for Everton hes certainly good enough for us.
