The Manager is been backed and will be backed. Do you really think he would have signed a new contract if he thought otherwise? The manager himself said what we have been doing is unsustainable, only 3 months ago. Are you really as fkn clueless as you come across. You're taking everything Hughes has said to the "n"th degree but spiting every signing he makes.Pathetic.

Interesting Paul. It certainly makes him more flexible and useful to us. It does make you wonder if we will see this at any point down Stoke next season? Moha-------Bojan-------Traore ------------Affellay------------- ------------Muniesa-------------- Interesting,Muniesa up front

Surely you play your preferred back 4 + keeper together in last friendly before season starts. Looking like Given Cameron Shawcross Wolly Wilson for next Sunday then? You're at least 3 off with that prediction. I don't think Johnson and Pieters are fully fit.

1 misplaced pass and a missed penalty? Yeah you're right. Broken fucking Britain. You quoted half of what I said anyway. I said I wasn't writing him off. But missing a penalty and nearly giving a goal away probably wasn't in the plan Why judge a player on a penalty in a shoot out? It's nonsensical. I was encouraged by his forward runs, think he'll score a few next season.

Not bad journalism as such, just someone trying to find an angle to back an outsider in a betting market.

You would think all the top clubs would be in a queue to sign him wouldn't you? Apart from the fact that he doesn't score enough goals or create chances Nzonzi is a very good player but unfortunately the football world in general doesn't think he's as good as some on here do. Exactly. Except he doesn't do the things teams want from a midfielder, score and create, you're right. That coupled with the likes of Michael Owen and begovic saying he's a nightmare for constantly moaning all week and his nack of only turning it on now and then is really putting off clubs paying anymore than a few million for him. Ah yes,Begovic, the paragon of virtue.

That was Salah mate wasn't it? I thought Shaq was good in the World Cup from what I saw and I've always been impressed with him on TV. Very happy with this potential signing myself. I have absolutely no idea. I'll start from the premise that he's wank and anything better than that will be a bonus :-) Scored a hat trick at the World Cup

N'Zonzi's star has certainly risen these last few months.Getting plenty of positive attention in the media.I think he'd get in the France squad next season wherever he plays if he continues last seasons form.Unfortunately,a move to a higher profile club will instantly increase his international ambitions.

For me the club should bring in 3/6/9 match tickets for those who can't do every game. I can only speak for the people I know but if that type of ticket was on offer my mate who lives down south would snap one up tomorrow for him his wife and 3 kids, my mate who is self employed would buy one for him and his little lad, I personally would buy a 6 match ticket for my wife and two kids. [/u] Spot on. Other clubs have discounts for match day tickets where the fan commits to a set number of games. Obviously you aren't going to get the same seat each time - unless you are very lucky. But many people simply can't make it to every game because of family or work commitments. Unless you can commit to about 13 or 14 games a season ticket doesn't make financial sense so tickets for lower numbers of games make perfect sense for the fan AND for the club. Clearly, they would not be as cheap (per game) as season tickets are but they should be sold at a worthwhile discount to normal match day prices - especially if bought before the season starts.
[/quote] Possible problem with deals like that is that you would probably see some current season ticket holders 'downgrading' to a 9 match season ticket.

Speaking of Sergei...... Best double swoop ever? It was gutting when he left. He was a colossus. It's frightening to think that them pair played for us in the 3rd tier of English football. As good as we are now, they'd still both get in our present team.

We actually only got 8,000 for a home league game first season at The Brit. Forgot who against but remember a picture being in the sentinel of the now Novus Stand looking completely empty. Who was that against ? Can't imagine the Brit now with 20,000 empty seats !!. Great great times to be a Stokie. 8423 v Oxford. The game Ally Pickering flicked the v's to the home fans.

Sadly, I'd be really surprised if he as still here come August. What a player he is And what a hole he'd leave. It's a worry but he really was beaming from ear to ear down in the corner with Arnie, Bojan and Muni - he looked totally happy with his current lot. That was the icing on the cake for me on one of the best ever days following Stoke.

It was a marvellous cross. If he came even close to crossing that well most of the time nobody would ever complain about his crossing. Haha, you sure about that
