Guess the management team can/should/must decide on these 3 players futures right after the final match. All 3 are known to us and 2 are in our direct and immediate control and the other we can either go after or not.
There is no need to prevaricate on any of them, once it is done we can get on with recruitment knowing where we stand.
To start the ball rolling here is my carefully considered input:
Odemwingie - No Wollscheid - No Moses - No

Guess the management team can/should/must decide on these 3 players which are all in our own direct control right after the final match. Only once this is done do we really know which positions and what type of player we are in the market for so it wants doing right away. To start the ball rolling here is my recommendation: Odemwingie - No Wollscheid - No Moses - No Odem keep Woll no Moses definitely no

Agree with this however it's not so black and white as a yes or no with Moses, depends on the fee completely

Odemwingie- Yes, think he has one more season left in him. Wollscheid- Yes, never easy to move into the Premier League in January. Moses- No, A little bit too injury prone for such heavy wage consumption, wish him the best however.

Yes - deserves it, and great around the dressing room. No - sorry, we've got to be aiming higher. No - great player, but waaaaay too injury prone. Even if we get him in on the cheap, we'd need another winger to cover the 5 months he'd miss.

Of those three the only one I'd say no to is wollscheid, but I think that might be the one we've already agreed to.

Interesting re. Moses. People seem 50/50 on him.
Ability wise it's a yes but can he be consistent enough and play enough games to warrant decent money?

Interesting re. Moses. People seem 50/50 on him. Ability wise it's a yes but can he be consistent enough and play enough games to warrant decent money? He was exceptional early on, then very hit and miss in some of the more recent games. At Villa, he may have scored and won the pen with his determination, but he was a liability for a large part of the game. Hot and cold player, as someone says, depends a lot on transfer fee and wages, no more than 7m for me, but then again i don't know how much Hughes has to spend.

I'll crunch the numbers later when we have a few more in but at the moment it looks like a big "No" for Wolly and a big "Yes" for Odemwingie and a deafening "maybe/depends" for Moses.

1. Odem yes because the club will want to show they will support every player through a tough patch. 2. Wollscheid. Only if we keep Huth too. I prefer Wolly and Huthy over Wilson at CH. 3. Either on loan or cut price transfer due to injury concerns.
So, one yes, two maybes.

Odem - Yes - On short term and probably reduced rate. Wollscheid - No - No, no, no, the lad can barely move, if we want a big german centre back... Huth. Moses - No - He is good when he's on it but hes Injured %50 of the time and not on it for half of the other %50. We'd waste a lot on a player who lets face it, only turns up a quarter of the time.

Yes 1 year only. Yes as he would have learnt a lot and will be ok in the long term. No does not appear to be overly interested in Stoke and sadly injury prone.
