That is one of the worse sackings I've ever seen. The Watford owners make the dildo brothers look philanthropic

Were there many people moaning when Gudjon left? I know I wasnt as we should have been promoted well before the 3rd season he was in charge for

Slight technicality - they didn't sack him, just didn't renew his contract. Like Allardyce situation

Demanded a huge pay rise apparently, can't argue with them getting rid.

He's ran out of contract because he's demanding an extra 2 and a half times what Watford are willing to offer him.
I don't see what Watford have done wrong? He wants an extra million on his salary and, rightly so, the club aren't offering him it.

Not really a sacking is it? As much as I've grown to love Hughes, if he demanded a 2.5x wage hike some on here wouldn't mind seeing the back of him. Where is Stafford stokie anyway?

His wages did probably rise by a factor of at least 2.5 when we got promoted to the Premier League - as did the salary of the players.

Di Matteo is available after Schalke04 sacked him - er, I mean after he resigned. Could be a match made in heaven. Any road up, I guess Watford will have their man already sorted before doing anything as daft as this.

The Gudjon thing was strange. We seemed to be all the place at that point, with a different bloke from Iceland popping up to make a statement or decision every month.
I appreciated them getting us up, and saving us from complete disaster, but thank god Peter Coates became super wealthy.
