I probably have. But a first half substitution at Ipswich. Rumours of big problems behind the scenes with Chiquinho. 4 subs at half time today. Doesn't point to a man in control and a harmonious environment. I think it actually points to the fact we are integrating so many new players that it is going to take time to find the balance and rhythm of the team. Hopefully the change from 1st half to 2nd will help shape things, but you make a great point.

Definate 1 after every victory 🤣

I can imagine it getting quite expensive per season, by non-moneybag clubs. On a similar theme, when watching baseball, it's always amused me to see how many baseballs get given to, or caught by, fans, per game. Funny you should say that. I have a friend who goes to AFC Wimbledon. When his lad asked a player for a shirt the response was "I'd like to, but I have to pay for the replacement" #division4

1 win away from 16th aswell. Not good but there is a long way to go . 1 win away from 16th normally means you're very much in a relegation fight... Being 4th bottom kinda gives it away

It's not great, but 5 points from losing positions in the last 3 games is a step forward.

They've had chances a plenty. They're poor finishing today, we're lucky. Could easily be losing or drawn. Same as us against Rotherham, should have won that at a canter

We go on a mad run and that bastard World Cup fecks it all up. Or Alex effectively has a pre season to work with the squad even more 🙂

Awful awful half but their goal was down to the usual source . A useless goalkeeper who some will constantly defend and blame others for his latest error Why in fcks name did he just come for that ball there ???? Same keeper that earnt us a point against QPR with a number of good saves. Yes he will make mistakes they all do. He's not perfect

I've always been grateful to MON for keeping us up, we were simply going down without him. However, under his management and with his own team, we're not back in serious relegation form over the past 9 or so months and he was damn lucky he had the summer to try and sort this squad out and he's well and truly failed in that. Very much agree with this - should have gone with thanks in the summer

Not in the slightest. Will always be grateful for saving us from oblivion, but last season showed he's not the man to take us up

The squad is nowhere near top 6. We don't have a goalkeeper who can make a save, our defenders are cumbersome, and we still lack goals. It's a bottom 6 squad with a bottom 6 manager. Disagree, top 6 squad, bottom 6 manager Bursik Clarke Taylor Jagielka (Souttar when fit) Tymon Laurent Baker Smallbone Campbell Gayle Brown (or DWP) That's the team I'd go for

I’d bring baker off. His passing is all over the place. I’ll give it a go. Gayle is shite, get him off. Couldn't hit a cows arse etc etc 😊

Should a Manager be sacked for failing to find a player who can consistently score penalties? Surely our record requires someone to explore this. I would be embarrassed if I couldn’t coach at least one player out of a 25+ man squad of professionals to score unchallenged from 12 yards. Criminal ! Baker's overall record would say he has - 19 from 22

I seem to remember their slightly rotund physio responding to a rendition of "ate all the pies" by producing one from his medical bag and throwing it into the home fans. Great night all round

It all sounds very "unusual", as stated once in administration all creditors have equal importance. Perhaps the announcement is designed to stop any potential fan trouble that could occur? Didn't think the Boro claim is actually a debt so to speak. They are claiming lost revenue, so aren't actually a creditor.

Looking back at the points for the 6th placed team over the previous 3 seasons, it ranges from 70pts (lowest) to 77pts (highest), with 74pts being enough 3 years ago. The current 6th place team (Boro) are on 45pts from 28 games. Pro-rata that out for the remainder of the season and it gives a final tally of 74 points (the same number of the 6th place team in the 2018/19 season). We're currently on 39 points from 28 games (an average of 1.39pts per game). In order to get to 74 points come the end of the season, we need 35 points from the remaining 18 games (pretty much bang on 2pts per game). That's the same kind of return that Fulham are currently on, sitting top with 58pts from 28 games. Most agree that Fulham have been head and shoulders above every other team in the league so far, so that gives an indication of what's required to get that kind of return. Even with all the changes, new signings and optimism thrown up from the January window, I can't for the life of me see that kind of transformation over the latter part of the season. We'll probably need 10 wins and 5 draws from the last 18 games. That's a very big ask. Simple answer - no

Does anyone still think we’ll make top 6 this season?? It’s just more of the same crap since we’ve been back in the championship. No better than a mid table side that will regress and end up in league 1 If we put 90 minutes together like the first half - yes. If we keep being Stoke - no

The media/people in general are out to get everyone who is a success and/or in a high up position. If Man Utd beat Everton, Ronaldo not starting wouldn't have been an issue. They're 2 points off the top of the table, and I imagine most sensible Man Utd fans would have been happy with that as a start to the season. I could understand the pressure towards the end of the season if Man Utd aren't challenging for the title and/or a trophy. They were winning until Ronaldo came on, maybe should have left him on the bench 🤔
