Expecting a big following for this one, cheap tickets, plenty of cheap trains, big away end. Come on Stoke

about twenty years ago me and my mates went there. can't remember the score, but at the time they were a better outfit than us.
After the game we had bricks thrown at us send our car by primary school kids. don't think I've been up that way much since 😂.
Any nicer?

Involved in a five-goal thriller today, having scored four and conceded four in 12 games prior to that 😴🥱

I hate playing Preston. I dunno why. It's an unappetising dull fixture.
I say that knowing plenty people say similar things about us.

Preston play Bristol City away on Wednesday, with us having the week off that’s a pretty big advantage.

It is the closest ground to me that Stoke visit regularly and I've watched us play there many times and have never had any trouble. Now they have built the new stand on the 4th side of the pitch it is a good place to watch football and the banking on the seats is steep enough to give you a great view. Pity they lost the Football Museum (to Manchester ) which was a great way to kill time if you arrived early enough before kick off. Another thing I like about it is the Tom Finney statue (the Splash) outside the ground which is my 2nd favourite footy statue after ours of Sir Stan at the bet365.

You’d have to be pretty unlucky or gobbing off to find trouble at Preston these days (you ii say that about most clubs in fairness)

Was wondering about the museum, had a feeling it had moved to Manchester. Does anything remain in the museum section at Deepdale or has it all gone in its entirety?

I always found their fans to be cool but just takes a couple. I remember getting into a members bar there once , chap on the door let us in as was quiet enough, think was a League Cup game. Even stopped to ask directions edge of town one time and ended up giving a couple of fans a lift and they bought us a pint in a nearby pub to say thanks. Am quite a diplomat on their turf I guess.

Only time I've been to a match there was in our promotion season. Lost 0-2 and still can't believe how we didn't score at least 3. Pinball in their box time after time. I went to the museum when it was there and was ace. It is now in Manchester but I think the archives are in Preston www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/museum-history/

Just been looking myself & only have the option for coach tickets. Looks like it’s sold out, in which case I hope that they’ll give us more.

Just looked a Preston's record this season.
In 13 games, 7 goals scored and 6 conceded!!!?
How strange is that?

Just looked a Preston's record this season. In 13 games, 7 goals scored and 6 conceded!!!? How strange is that? They scored three of them on Saturday. A certain Liam Lindsay is playing out of his skin for them.

They've kept the whole of the Bill Shankly free which they don't always do. Unless the police intervene they will sell us what we need including pay on the day from the ticket office.......

Initial allocation of 2,400 odd has completely sold out with practically a week to go, can’t see them not allocating more. Most people buy their tickets in the week coming up to the game including me
