One that we should win if we setup like we did v Blackpool.
I do have concerns thought that he’ll set up like he did v Millwall and tonight with Clucas rather than Smallbone. We need creativity in CM.

Same starting XI as that from Saturday in my opinion.

Haven't picked up a point all season, coming off the back of a leathering tonight and I'm going to my first away game for ages.
Lump on a home win.

Knowing the Stoke City Point Foundation we'll gift the desperate Huddersfield Town 3 points. MON will just be his typical self in the aftergame interview - "yeah look , tough game". "We were the better team in the half" "in the gaeemee" "yeahh look i mean" "at the end of the daaayyy..."

We need creativity in CM. I don't think this manager has the freedom of expression in his team selection to allow too many victories away from home. Huddersfield have been humped tonight and will be treating this one as a cup final. Cue the Charity Train arriving that is Stoke City. However, I hope for those loyal fans travelling we can get the win.

Would love another ckeansheet on Saturday. I know it's not necessarily exciting but we've not had 3 in a row since November last year. When you consider most of the games we lost were by one goal, a ckeansheet is often the difference between getting a draw and a win, or a loss and a draw.
From an attacking pov I'm not too concerned on the bases of Saturdays performance and from what I watched of the Morecambe highlights. Over the two games our xG was over 5, and that's with a lot of fringe players featuring too.
Lots of reasons to get behind the team right now. Especially when so many of the players starting are new to the club too.

Very rare for any side to start a season with 3 straight league defeats and this fixture is so often 1.1

Considering Huddersfield's current form, an early goal for us would be very useful.

Considering Huddersfield's current form, an early goal for us would be very useful. Correct. The manager needs to send his team out with positive and attacking intent. Time will tell.

I know it’s been said but if Tymon is fit we win it. Crazy how in a formation where wing backs are absolutely critical, we only have 2 decent ones. That’s a stretch as I’m still not convinced of Clarke. Baffles me. We need 2 more.

Considering Huddersfield's current form, an early goal for us would be very useful. I wonder if there is any such thing as a game in which an early goal would not be very useful. That's a genuine question, although I cannot think of such a game.

Luton away under Jordan, we got 2 early goals... Lol out loud, we're always capable of that! However that wasn't my question. Of course there are games where you lose after taking the lead. But you lose despite taking the lead, not because of it. I can think of no circumstances where taking a(n early) lead isn't an advantage. I am very happy to be persuaded otherwise!

I think the only scenario where you can 'score too early' is a cup tie v a 'big team' (or an away prem game at Man City/Liverpool and a few others) i.e. the game plan is to kill the game at 0.0 for ages then grab a late winner if you can scoring early can simply get the big team going & you end up being thumped It's not a definitive theory & there will be oodles of (non Stoke) examples where side score early against a a big side then still wins the game
