I can see the fans starting to turn if we lose Tuesday, especially as Jones is in charge of Luton.

Hopefully 4 at the back
Bonham Clarke Wilmot Souttar Tymon Laurent Baker Campbell Powell Fosu Delap
No line up would make me completely happy, there’s no midfield pairing I’d be satisfied with, or at right wing, but hopefully that formation would make better use of Campbell, and many other players too.

Every match we play seems to be a 'massive match' recently.
We are fucking dogshit, does this club live life on the edge on purpose?

Luton will try to bully us which they do against most teams they play and successfully mostly. It wouldn’t surprise me to see both Flint and Souttar in a back 3 on Tuesday night. We have to try and compete physically against them or we’ll just get brushed aside in my opinion

I don't think any midfield is combative enough if I am honest, it's really worrying times, a couple more defeats before the break and it is looking a bit grim, if it isn't already.

I don't think any midfield is combative enough if I am honest, it's really worrying times, a couple more defeats before the break and it is looking a bit grim, if it isn't already. That's why Thompson is so important. Laurent looks like he should be combative but isn't. As others have said I would try Tymon alongside him to leave the left free for Fosu. It seems crazy to drop one of our better players to make room for Tymon who has to start. With Souttar fully fit we might even be able to go to 2 centre backs with Fox at left back and Sterling/Clarke right back. That leaves 4 attacking places - I'd go Powell/Baker attacking midfield (my preference would be Powell who's far more combative but I can't see the captain being dropped), Fosu left, Brown/Sterling right and Campbell/Delap(again Delap for his aggression).

Any home game where our odds are on or above evens and better than the away team I stick a fiver on us to win. I’m just giving away fivers to the bookie this season!

At least it looks like Powell will be fit and he just loves rubbing Jones' nose in it.

Neil has just become the Jones Mk 2 version.
Jones comes with Luton and beats us like Neil did with Sunderland, what reasoning can the board give us?
The only thing our players seem to do in unison and any conviction these days is kneel down and raise a clenched right fist before a ball is even kicked.
We are top of the league in being a politically correct club and virtuous.
In fact since Coates was on QT time back in 2016 our club has been in free fall and I realised how poles apart I was with our owners.
We have just lost our competitive edge and exist to engage in virtuous endeavour!

Bonham/Bursik
Sterling Wilmot Jagielka/Souttar (it fit) Tymon
Baker Thompson
Brown Powell Fosu
Gayle
Play a high press all game and try to wear them down. Feed the ball into the channels and have Fosu and Brown chase. Sub them out for Campbell and DWP later into the game and do the same.

Would be nice if Campbell plays on the right, in a 4-2-3-1 he simply can’t play up front and the longer he keeps playing there you have to wonder what the manager is watching

Bonham
Sterling Wilmot Souttar Tymon
Baker Thompson
Brown Powell Fosu
Tezgel
Tezgel can’t do much worse than our current Strikers so we might as well give him a chance as he’s one for the future.

Bonham Sterling Wilmot Souttar Tymon Baker Thompson Brown Powell Fosu Tezgel Tezgel can’t do much worse than our current Strikers so we might as well give him a chance as he’s one for the future. That's a good idea when the team is playing badly and squad confidence is rock bottom chuck a completely untried 17 year old in! That would be great for his development.

There's arguments for Gayle for Delap and Sterling for Clarke but this is 100% the best side/formation After Saturday there is no way Campbell and Powell deserve to start on that form. Thompson has to start because again on recent form Baker and Laurent couldn't stop Duncan Norvelle waltzing through midfield.

You just know the manager who was a complete familier at Stoke, will move into a play off spot after beating us.

Definitely along the lines of the right shape/formation. Although I’d personally go: Bonham Sterling. Jags. Wilmot/Soutar. Tymon Baker. Laurent. Powell Campbell/Fosu. Gayle. Brown We need baker Laurent and Powell to be busy in the middle of the park as we seem to have nothing from the centre backs to the forwards. Depending on how Luton set up and play I’d also have the fullbacks bombing on but when one goes forward, the other drops back and makes up a three at the back when we’re on the attack

I’ve made the decision not to go. Really can’t be arsed to stand in the rain and watch another spanking (I think it’ll be 3 or 4 to Luton).
Need a reset for both me and the team. Apathy doesn’t even begin to describe.
