Are we sure it's not something to do with the club? And our terrible medical team?

Think he probably wants to bring the younger centre halfs through like Michael Keane & Ben Gibson. Understandable in that sense, and Boro's defence actually hasn't been too bad this season (not great granted)

Good news.
Harsh on Ryan and i'm sure he'll feel different but i want him nowhere near the squad. We gain nothing from it.

Snide hillsborough digs. Are we really this low? Nobody mentioned Hillsbro Liverpool are always making out that they are the victims. Nothing to do with Hillsbro at all. You keep thinking that

Huge game for them tonight, home against Shrewsbury. Have to win, if they lose then it may be curtains for them.
Can't see many of their rivals picking up points this weekend, maybe MK Dons, Oldham & Gillingham at most.

Don't see what Livermore has done to get in
He should have included Walcott, Interested to see how Ward-Prowse & Redmond get on
As for Grant & Shawcross, understandable why neither are in. There are better goalkeepers to choose from, and Ryan's had a more mixed season than he's had in the past. Anyway don't want stoke players anywhere near the england squad.

Bit of a joke that our teams gone Cheltenham 3 days before welcoming top of the table Chelsea at home, kick in the bollocks to all fans, specially if we roll over and get our bellies tickled Saturday Bet they even live in their own homes and don't pitch a tent at the training ground, the bastards.

neither are a threat now. And loads who sing it are young and therefore have never seen an attack first hand on the news or us actually play Vale in a game.

No thanks. Great servant for the club but we have to move on. Already got Afellay, Cameron, Allen, Whelan, a new midfielder I'm assuming as well.

No reason for us to sign John Terry at all. He's too old and quite frankly a cunt.
Should be going for Bruno, and then a young centre back to cover him & Shawx (can Muni stay)

We could even buy a temporary scoreboard like the one we used to have before 2008, surely the club are capable of that Shirley the most sensible thing, which therefore explains why it didn't happen, would have been to have erected the new scoreboard on top of the Wickes' shed in the NW corner BEFORE pulling down the old one in the opposite corner. Or am I just being naively unrealistic. I actually thought they were putting up the new scoreboards as soon as the old one went down, bit lazy from them me thinks

On a slightly another note, really not a fan of people who say 'look after our own' when they talk about refugees/foreign aid/etc.
The reality is nobody gives a shit about 'our own' who happen to be homeless.

The proper game of football reference was aimed at you and the fact you seem to be actually disgusted by the scoreline. It's *only* the youth team. And they were simply beaten by a better side. By better youth players. Who will become better footballers. Some of them world class. No need to accuse of them being gutless. Some of them were in tears last night. They're kids. I'm still confused. They are playing in the Semi-Final of the most prestigious competition in the country for their age group and they froze on the big stage. It may "only" be the youth team to you, but we are trying to produce players to go on and have a career in professional football. How will they cope playing in front of 20,000, 30,000, 60,000 against some of the best players the Premier League can attract? Let's molly-coddle them at a young age cos that will help them cope with the pressures of playing professional football won't it!! It makes me laugh that I'm being slaughtered on here, but some of your comments, which I would suggest are more controversial than mine, seem to be ignored by other posters. Like I said in a previous post.....Confused.com You called 16/17 year olds gutless. 16/17 year olds who reached a semi final of this competition (i.e. the last four of the cup) 16 / 17 year olds who have probably never played in a big game like that before. People can become more confident as they become older. I'm more confident now in my 20s than I ever was as a 16 year old. Going back to that Shawcross point, he lacked confidence and looked hopeless in that Youth tie (against Stoke). He become a Premier League captain who led his side to a cup final, european run and more. Imagine actually calling kids gutless though. Would you tell a 16 year old who got a C instead of a B in his GSCE gutless? Fuck me. And perhaps the reason you're getting slaughtered is because nobody agrees with you and finds your comments daft.

Don't give a shit if they don't and who could blame them really. They're millionaires employed at a business that just so happens to be based here. Just the way it is, some things will never change.
I live in Trent Vale and trust me I wouldn't want any of them venturing out into it given some of the sights I've seen before. Get into their cars at the training ground, out of the housing estate, A34, A500, M6 then back home.

Calls them 'gutless' and then suggests forfeiting the second leg. Jesus H. I don't understand your use of blasphemy. Would seem unnecessary. For most of the players, last night was the biggest match in their (fledgling) careers to date. They were woeful. Woeful to the point that they allowed players to drift past them without so much of a challenge, any challenge, as though in awe of their opponent's skill level. Both teams contained players of the same age. Both teams contained players looking to forge a career in the professional game. Stoke froze on the big stage. Do you think I use the term "gutless" lightly? A throw-away comment even? Clearly the second leg won't be forfeited, but what is the point of it now? Stoke were hoping for a five-figure attendance. That won't happen now....but you'll be there won't you?? It is possible for one team to have better players than the other. Even at that age. Man City can buy the best youngsters in the world. And a five figure crowd? Deary me.

you called a u18 side losing gutless, passionless and embarrassing. An under 18 side, in a under 18 game. It's not a proper game of football. They were just beaten by a better side. That Man City side last night included some future world class players, I mean ffs they even have their own FL standard stadium! I watched a DVD of a Man United youth player having a shocker in a FA Youth Cup tie. Looked all over the place, much worse than any of the lads who played last night. His name was Ryan Shawcross. If you are that bothered by a youth fixture than look at yourself. Well, where to start with this post?! "Not a proper game of football" !!! Ridiculous comment. What do other posters think of this comment? "Man City....included some future world class players"......How do you know this as they weren't playing a proper game of football last night. Will they be able to cope with "proper football"? Confused.com The proper game of football reference was aimed at you and the fact you seem to be actually disgusted by the scoreline. Thanks for all of your comments. The lads were woeful against a very good team. We're looking at developing players to have a career in the game (hopefully in the Stoke first team but more than likely elsewhere), but they haven't performed on the big stage. A stage that they will need to perform on each weekend/every match if they are to make themselves a career in the game. Anyhow, will see you all at the Second Leg. You will be there won't you....... you called a u18 side losing gutless, passionless and embarrassing. An under 18 side, in a under 18 game. It's not a proper game of football. Introduce an extra point for a four goal margin victory. Will encourage teams to go for blood at 2-0 up (something which could help our side)
