I went to renew my season ticket this morning, there were only 6 people in front of me, i was there 50 minutes, there were 2 dinosaurs behind the counter, with a combined age of about 140, the computer system wouldnt let them do this, the computer system wont let me do that, Hanley fucking Town are more organised than this football club

See there is the problem 2 dinosaurs, those fuckers are not qualified to sell tickets, T Rex and his buddies are monsters mate, they were probably confused as to why they are in a shop and not out hunting cavemen in Burslem

Those 2 Dinosaurs were probably thinking look at these 7 dinosaurs wasting their day coming here to renew when they could do it online in just a couple of mins.

Those 2 Dinosaurs were probably thinking look at these 7 dinosaurs wasting their day coming here to renew when they could do it online in just a couple of mins. A good point. Obviously there are some people whose particular circumstances mean that they need to attend the ticket office in person or breve the telephone queue to renew their tickets. But, if all the people who can use the internet and who have straightforward circumstances, actually renewed online then the whole system would work better and those who needed to queue up would probably face much shorter queuing times. As to the age of the people in the ticket office, I doubt that their age will have contributed to the delays. In the case of similar jobs such as bank clerks or supermarket check out staff, older people tend to do the job just as quickly on average as younger people do. No doubt this won't fit in with the original poster's argument - but, as he is no doubt well below dinosaur age, he is almost certainly biased! EDIT: Just renewed mine online at 13:00 today and it took 3 minutes. Sorted!

Imagine the 25th richest club in world football, with a turnover of over £100M having a variety of efficient channels so that customers could purchase items in a way that suited them best?!

Had reason to contact the ticket office with regard to renewal+2 new ST's first person was totally unhelpful the next told me a load of bullshit that contradicted simple information the first person had given me read straight off the computer even though he couldn't do anything about it. The second person plain lied.

It was just so obvious they were narked that the first person I spoke to had given me the information that led me to challenge the way they operate.

Same I was told on sat when I renewed The card was changed last summer because the main sponsors had changed. bet365 and Macron are still our sponsors so there is no need to change the card.

Awful isnt it how it always happens to you I've no idea what you're on about what always happens to me as far I'm aware nothing bad has happened to me almost ever. As a matter of interest, why didn't you renew online? Took me under 4 minutes this afternoon. Going to the ticket office almost certainly involves some delay as many people who apply in person do so because they have a problem which isn't always easily solved online or on the phone. As pointed out up the thread, today, being the first day of the Burnley ticket sale, was always going to be busy at the ticket office.

I wanted to enquire about the two seats next me and my Dad for my Son and his girlfriend. These seats remain empty every game even when they say its a sell out. I've mentioned it a few times before on here. The first bloke looked on the computer and told me they were reserved for workers of some type so I had a right moan about it and also emailed Anthony Emmerton about it then they changed their story and said they were sold to season card holders who have already renewed. It was obviously bullshit to shut me up, they expect you to believe these people buy season cards never go to any games then are so keen they renew as soon as possible. The first story was far more plausible but its too much trouble to move these workers freebee tickets elsewhere don't suppose they'd care they don't even use them. Bollox to them we'll use them anyway as we have done on occasions this season, they'll have to come and ask us to move in the unlikely event they want to use them.

You'd think that workers' seats would be allocated on the basis that they would be moved if a season ticket holder next to them wanted the seats.

Altster does have a point.
Myself and partner have tickets 5 seats apart and were told that they could not be rearranged.
We have managed to sit next to each other for EVERY GAME. The people alongside us vary from week to week. ?
