On what planet ever in the history of time does booing your own football team make us play better? We’ve been generally awful for a few years, you lot pay your hard earned money to watch that crap, they’re all on a fortune, it’s our right to booo blah blah blah, Our fans are easily the most negative toxic fans in the country. It’s embarrassing and other teams must piss themselves coming to play at our ground. “Come on lads, we get one here and this place will turn”. Really feel sorry for all the new lads that have just come in getting sold a tale of great fans and they then get royally booed constantly a few games in. Ever think that getting behind the team might actually make us play better and might make the opposition play worse? Just a thought. If you’re booing. Either get behind tree team or stay at home because you’re the problem you negative bastards ‘Most negative toxic fans in the country’ and the fans are the problem? Have a day off. They got plenty of encouragement from kick off then they resorted to the abject lazy disorganised shower of shit that they’ve been under Neal in his 40 odd games in charge. Having paid my money, I’ll cheer, encourage and boo when I want to thanks.

It does take time for players to gel, BUT this argument that it should take 10-12 games is rubbish. They’re seasoned professionals that have probably played in most formations over their careers. They train 3 odd times a week and have played loads of games in training etc to get used to the way each player plays and their attributes etc. It shouldn’t take that long IF the manager said from the start “we’re playing a 433 or 4231 and this is how I want you to do it” He hasn’t and their in lies the problem. Players aren’t stupid and pick up their roles pretty quickly. This is on the manager for me.

If the manager had settled on a 433 or 4231 formation, and stuck to it it wouldn’t and shouldn’t take professional footballers 10-12 games to gel. I wouldn’t expect that at grassroots level, never mind players earning thousands a week. Most of them will have played every formation possible in their careers and would quickly get used to a system. Loads of different partnerships to form though, it's not just about playing the system is it, it takes time to understand how your team mates play and move, what foot they want the ball on, wether they'll cut inside or go outside, come short or pull off the back His downfall in my view will be his reluctance to stick to a formation well 17 new players get used to playing with each other Whilst I agree with some of what you’re saying, they also work on these things in training all week not just on match days. They must get to know each other quite quickly training 3 odd times a week.

Till Christmas time but with a serious uplift needed. Guardiola (not saying he's in that class or even comparing him to Pep) has an embarrassment of riches but whilst he may change personal he rarely changes the shape. Get back to a 4,2,3,1 4,3,3 God even a 4,4,2 Alex and show us you're the manager a lot of us thought you were. Start to have the opposition shitting themselves about us and not the other way around. Plus, anyone have any faith the board won't make another pigs ear of an appointment? Would you still give him until Christmas if say we’re bottom three end of October, which let’s face it is a big possibility with our upcoming fixtures?

My thoughts were 10-12 games for players to gel and see positive improvements. I certainly wasn't expecting 6 defeats though in 8 in the league. If the manager had settled on a 433 or 4231 formation, and stuck to it it wouldn’t and shouldn’t take professional footballers 10-12 games to gel. I wouldn’t expect that at grassroots level, never mind players earning thousands a week. Can't help but think 4-2-3-1 would really suit these lot, then just get the three interchanging. Gives you that flexibility then you have the defensive balance of Pearson sitting, harrying and winning possession with Burger just ahead of him as the link-up man. Wesley as the big front man, then you've got options in behind and can replace with Mmaee if needed. I’m sure that was his plan originally until for god knows what reason he’s gone Nathan Jones levels of batshit crazy.

I'm still trying to make sense of the bonkers decision to play 3-5-2 at the weekend and the only thing I can think is that he's trying to overload the backline in order to keep a clean sheet to give them confidence, which has obviously backfired massively. In essence he doesn't trust the defence enough to go with a back four. Does anyone know what defensive formation Rose and McNally played together in at Coventry? Surely just go 4 at the back, pick a centre half pairing and get them used to playing together. It really is that simple. Shame the idiot in charge can’t see it.

I doubt the board have have given sacking him a single thought at this stage. Another couple of defeats and us sitting in the bottom three will change that.

Neil has been pretty average throughout his time as Stoke manager, bar a few months towards the end of last season. People only think he's a good manager because of his jobs elsewhere, but this job was always going to be more difficult and so it's proving. Makes you wonder why every manager since we got relegated has found this job ‘more difficult’ than previous ones 🤔

Is AN sackable without also sacking Tricky Ricky and US Jared? No new manager would want to be encumbered with these two lunatic fantasists would they? Then what of JC? He gave it the large one poaching AN mid-season from Sunderland and then backed the summer trolley dash to the hilt. JC would like some special kind of fool if he then had to dispatch all 3 'wise men' before the clocks go back and the cost of getting rid would rob us blind. I mean what would he tell his father and sister? I think JC has made his bed and he is going to have to lie in it. Hopefully the owners will realise like they have with player recruitment, that recruiting British managers isnt the only option. When that will happen god only knows but if results continue the way they are it will surely be sooner rather than later.

What a sanctimonious load of bollocks. I was defending AN a few weeks ago when these complaints reared their heads - we wanted a clear out and we've got one, we wanted dead wood gone and we've got it, we wanted a new transfer strategy instead of a lucky dip and we've got it. I said at the time that he needed time, the team needed time and it would take a while for it to all to gel... I stand by all of that, but what I will not stand by is absolutely brain dead management, that is bordering on the antagonistically arrogant perseverance with a system of wingbacks that our last 3 managers (AN included) have proved beyond all fucking doubt DOES NOT WORK. We cannot play 3 CB's and wingbacks. You know it, I know, it, every fucker on here knows it, so why the fuck is he steadfastly hanging onto it despite selling our best wingback at the 11th hour and not having the players to do it! He said he wanted to play 443 or 442 with wingers, so he's bought a fuckload of wingers and playing with wingbacks! He's playing bloody good players completely out of position and then complaining that they are doing the job for him! I'll give him all the time in the world if he weren't being so petulant and pig0headed in his set up and selections. If he set up the way he told us, and the way for which he has recruited I'd be right behind him as I accept it takes time for so much change to gel, but for him to frankly take the piss out of all supporters who pour a small fortune into supporting this shit, by apparently just smearing fecal matter on the tactics board before kick off and seeing what sticks, I'm quite happy if he fucks the fuck off today. He’s rapidly becoming Nathan Jones MK 2

Nothing wrong with any system if you recruit for it. He's blathered on about wingers for months, recruited a bus load of them and is now trying to hammer a central midfielder in at left wing back, trying to hammer wingers into a central striker or number ten position because he wants to play wing backs without any bloody left sided wing backs. It's exactly how it ended at Preston with him hammering Alan Browne in at right wing back. He clearly doesn't learn a thing. He's becoming hard to defend that's for sure. In my view he needs to stop being a smart arse and confusing matters further with a different formation for a different club, that can't be good as a player if you're trying to settle in at the club, especially 17 of them. Pick a formation and let the oppo worry about us. Personally I'd go for 4231 and stick with it rain or shine until at least we have a base to adjust from The picking formations to suit teams in this league is batshit crazy. Who the hell does he think he and the players are that he and them are that good that they can just change tactically like that game to game??? They’re Championship players and he’s a Championship Manager not Pep Guardiola!!! Stick to a formula that works with the players he’s got, it’s not rocket science! What is it with managers and players that come to this club with good pedigree and suddenly turn to absolute dogshit? Must be something in the water at Clayton Wood 🤷♂️

AN's biggest problem is he thinks he knows more about football than he does. His formations/systems are a confused mess. No wonder the players make mistakes; doubt they know what they're supposed to do. Reminds me of the last few managers we’ve had.

Parking has always been a shower of shit. The bottom car park is a free for all most games. Some stewards telling people to go to bottom gate then being told you can’t turn left. That happened to us yesterday and was told it’s because fans are walking in the road so you can’t go left only right. Yet past that exit they’re still walking in the road! Also the game before we were allowed to turn left 🤷♂️ Absolute shower of shit, just like what was on the pitch yesterday 😡

After 4 games they had a big overhaul like we have, it takes time to gel, but we already look good.. not saying we will win the league by the way We’ll be fine, as long as we stay away from any formation that doesn’t have four at the back 👍

In my humble opinion it’s all been blown way out of proportion as with most things the media like to highlight these days and it shows what a shower of shit the world has become. Man gives woman peck on the lips in what I imagine was just pure happiness gratitude and delight in what they had just achieved and he’s a fucking monster. It was clearly wrong and distasteful what he did and he should have apologised immediately and have been removed from his post. End of.

As long as he doesn’t make too many mistakes (like he did with the formation first half Saturday) then I think we’ll be there or thereabouts come May. But if we’re bottom half by January with how much overhaul there’s been with the squad, then he may be on thin ice. Can’t see that myself and think we’ll be around that top six all season once the window closes and things start to settle down.

Well, he made it to the airport. www.starnewskorea.com/stview.php?no=2023082814301129510&pDepth=news&pDepth1=sports&pDepth2=soccer2'Son of Daejeon' leaves Korea to transfer to Stoke City "The moment I've always dreamed of.. The ultimate goal is to advance to the big leagues" Bae Jun-ho is about to move to Stoke City, which belongs to the English Championship (second division). Stoke City are currently in the Second Division, but were once in the English Premier League (EPL). They are considered one of the most likely teams to win promotion this season. Bae Jun-ho had an interview at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 on the 28th. He said "It's a moment I always dreamed of, but I wanted to go. I wanted to go to Europe. The ultimate goal is to advance to the big leagues. I am still excited,” he said. When asked why he chose Stoke City, he said, “It’s a club where I can play right away, and they actively wanted me. (Playing style) has changed a lot from before. I thought it was definitely a good team. I think I just need to adapt well,” he explained. Bae Jun-ho's agent, Root One CEO Lim Se-jin, said, "Stoke City has undergone a major rebuild since the appointment of a manager. Last season, there were only about three starters left. They needed a creative player, and Bae Jun-ho was offered by Stoke City.” Bae Jun-ho, who we met at Incheon International Airport on the 28th, said, "I have always dreamed of playing on the European stage. (Stoke City) thinks it is a 'step' to the final goal. The final goal is to play in the big leagues or big clubs." www.yna.co.kr/view/AKR20230828044700007?input=twIn addition to Stoke City, Torino (Italy) is known to have made an official offer. Several big clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, Arsenal (above England), and Ajax (Netherlands) are also reported to have shown interest. However, Bae Jun-ho chose Stoke City, where he most desperately wanted him and seemed likely to play as the starting player "I wanted to go straight to a club where I could play. Stoke City actively wanted me, so I chose them," he said. "I heard that it has changed a lot from before. I also watched a few games and felt that it was a good team. If I adapt well, I think I can fit in well." “I can play both side and attacking midfielders, but Stoke City seems to be trying to use me as an attacking midfielder.Looking back on the past year or so, Bae Jun-ho said, "It was a time when many things changed and experienced a lot in my life. Thanks to that, such a good opportunity came." On this day, the Daejeon front desk directly came out to the airport and supervised the press conference for Bae Jun-ho's departure. It is a very rare sight. Usually, the player's agent does this. A Daejeon employee explained, "Bae Jun-ho is a very important player to our club, so I took care of him myself." The lad clearly thinks he's going to walk into the team. Judging by the shambles that was our midfield first half Saturday he might well 😂

2/10 for me and he only gets that for having the sense to change things at half time. Was so pissed off to see us playing with wingbacks again. He can’t say he hasn’t got the squad to play 433 now. No excuses.
