Tough ask actually, been a really poor tournament devoid of many exceptional performances:
Patricio
Cedric Soares Williams Pepe Raphael Guerreiro
Kroos Krychowiak
Payet Peresic Bale
Griezmann
Subs: McGovern Fonte Boateng De Bruyne Ramsey Sigthorson Dzsudzsak

I know Portugal won it but Cedric Soares should be nowhere near the team of the tournament, imo.

Bale is a funny one, he had the big moments but in the games I watched he didn't play well.
Ramsey has to be in the XI imo.

Without choosing a proper formation I think I'd probably go for these players:
McGovern
Boateng Chiellini Pepe Bonucci
Payet Bale Krychowiak Ramsey Modric
Griezmann

Same as Luke45, I can never choose a proper formation for these things so the 11 players I'd have in there regardless of formation, I'd go with:
McGovern
Bonucci Pepe Williams Gunnarsson
Payet Ramsey (hate to admit it) Kroos
Griezmann Ronaldo Bale

Boateng needs to be in there. Played very well in the early stages but daft handball against Italy meant the likes of Williams Pepe and Bonucci are ahead of him for me

England. Got through the group stages unbeaten against some pretty decent opposition and had it not been for 2 lucky goals against pre tournament favourites and footballing powerhouse Iceland, would have surely gone on to win it at a canter. Roy should be Knighted for his valiant efforts which lifted the nations spirits when we needed it the most.
