Not sure if this has been done already so shit bin it if it has .........there have been several opinion polls conducted ahead of the EU in/out referendum recently with some very differing results. I saw one in The Express which stated that 92% of a 16000 head phone survey said out. Others have been evenly matched. So let's have our own survey In or Out......I'll start with
OUT

I've asked on here before as I'm not really up-to-speed with all this political bollocks, but what benefits do we get by staying in?
From what I can gather voting 'out' means we can run our own country again, our own laws (Does this mean we can fuck that Human Rights shit off & deport foreign criminals?) take back control of our borders (Does this mean we can legally stop all people from coming here?) and we stop spunking millions of pounds per day up the wall (I'm sure I read summat about how, erm... I think it was Norway [They're not in the EU, right?] still had to give millions to Europe all the time but had no imput to what went on. Is this what'll happen to us? We still have to pay but have no say, or can we just stop paying?)
The 'in' vote seems to consist of rich wankers, sorry, bankers, saying it's the best thing ever. (Are there any genuine positives at all from staying in?)

I'm undecided on this one. Spunking billions away every year to a foreign land, where we have little democratic power and they fail to get their accounts audited year after year. They impose their own laws above our own parliaments and we end up with even more politicians, oh and our own democratically elected ones are that scared of upsetting their European "partners" (and screwing up any future pay date) they practically all become treacherous bastards.
I'm sure there's plenty of guff to come about we'll all end up skint and on the dole if we dare to vote out, similar to what we were told when they tried to scare us into joining the Euro.
I'll keep thinking about it and I'm sure I'll come to a conclusion before Cameron sets a date.

Out, and it's not even close. The people who want to stay in are the monetary elite who benefit the most. It is for that reason we will likely see the majority of politicians and the majority of the media working to create a disproportionate amount of influential support for the In campaign, but hopefully enough of the general public will see through the pernicious campaign strategies they use to fool us into signing our own death-warrants.

The only scaremongering is by that duplicitous cunt of a PM. He's beginning to make Bliar seem trustworthy. It was only a few weeks ago he was saying how depending on the deal he "negotiated", that he may campaign for Brexit. I doubted his sincerity then and now I can say with absolute certainty that he's a lying bastard.

Out.
Once the yanks use the TPIT agreement to grab chunks of the NHS and other public services, you wont have any complaints because you,ll have voted to let them do it. Its not about political colours. Its about what you pass on to future generations.

This backwater, just like the rest of the UK, is a net contributor to the EU. With the country as a whole pumping in billions every year. I've seen no massive infrastructure projects in Stoke for this massive outlay of money. I did travel around Southern Spain a few years ago and was surprised at the dual carriageway's that run every where with fantastic bridges all paid for by the EU of course, with very few motorists on any of them. What makes it even worse is that the EU's budget hasn't been signed off by auditors for decades due to the corruption involved. Perhaps when you say the hand that feeds you, you mean about the dragging down of wages that the EU has had on such a backwater. The UK's open door policy for immigration has without doubt held 99.99% of peoples wages down by a significant amount and also had an effect on increasing house prices/rents and led to poorer public services on offer. How anyone "committed to social justice" can even think of voting in, is a bit beyond me. The worries of TTIP have already been raised but what about CAP which not only adds an estimated £10 per week to the average backwater foodbill, but also results in massive food waste and adds to the misery and poverty in the third world by making it even harder for them to trade and produce their own food. The EU has of course had massive "success" in helping minority groups. Who would of thought that we would now have cities, including the capital, where British born people were now in the minority. I was reading somewhere, what would the UK do if we were not a member of the EU and were offered a place to join today? Would we jump at the chance to offer billions every single year to a corrupt foreign organisation, who could overrule our own parliament and courts and at the same time handover control of our borders to lower our own standard of living? Thinking about it now, I'm leaning towards out.

It made some sense when it was just a "common market". It would possibly make sense in a federal super state. The half arsed thing we have now where we just sit at the fringes booing and pay a fucking fortune for the privilege of being ignored is an absolute waste of money. Yet another tier of ineffective government - we need less of that - not more.
I'm a business owner with some European sales - and even I can't make a case for it.

Undoubtedly all those products of English Public Schools will give a fuck about Stoke-On-Trent I say we burn them all Lord, Do we need two lots of faceless bureaucrats though?- in terms of democracy , simplicity and cost. I believe that even those of us who are not particularly interested in politics are au fait with the Parliamentary system and tradition to some degree, even if it just the fact that they know that they have a local MP. The EU experiment simply further disenfranchises the man (or woman) in the street.

Why would you? (genuine question) Over the past 15 years I have met my local MP many times , and she has taken forward several issues for me. I did not vote for her, but she is an excellent constituency MP.I have been both to the Houses of Parliament and the EU "complex" in Brussels a few times, and for me it is clear which is more accessible and which has the UK interests at heart. Of course neither is perfect but I think that you are in with more of a shout with one than another if you believe in democracy (IMHO of course)

Seeing as you raise the point though, I believe that no single politician from any party should sway your decision too much either way. Have a look at how much we pay, what we get in return, what it costs us, what benefits us, etc, etc. and make your own mind up. I have no issue with anyone who wants us to leave the EU standing for the European Parliament, I didn't realise that a prerequisite for the job was to offer your heart and soul to the 4th reich EU. I've no idea how often Farage attends the actual parliament, but I have respect that he's sacrificed a well paid career to do something he believes in for less money, and I'm sure he puts in a fair few hours to that cause.

I recall seeing him debating in the euro parliament on many occasions - I'd be very surprised if his attendance record is as poor as the average Kinnock like sponger over there. If it was - the tory rags would surely be on it.
