He looks like a rabbit in headlights
Just what he needed on Week 1; 2 terror attacks on the continent with huge loss of lives and a failed coup in one of the world's most strategic countries.
A real baptism of fire

What Johnson sugessted about Obama Was at best clumsy and offensive and at worst had pretty plain racist overtones. The cunt is not fit to govern and deserves everything he's getting.

Its an appeasement to the Brexit camp - I doubt he'll see Xmas frankly
I voted Out but I will be utterly amazed if it actually happens

You are forgetting how utterly side splittingly hilarious when he arranged to get stuck on OOOPS got stuck on (yeah right) the guidewire thing with his flags in 2012.

Good ol Boris ha ha stir the fuckers up - some people are a bit too sensitive. Best thing thats happend to this country in decades i presume you're aware that being Foreign secretary isn't exactly the best position for him to "stir the fuckers up" aren't you? it's one thing having a bit of a laugh and a good bit of banter when he's on Have i got news for you but when he's in one of the most influential positions in govt. it's slightly different...he's goes to other countries and talks to their heads of state, fucks up, says the wrong thing and he can't just turn to them and say "FFS just stop being so PC will you boys?" i think he's hilarious and good to giggle at but his calamitous fuck ups and almost Prince Phillip-esque comments simply HAVE to stop and bloody quickly if we want ANYONE to take us seriously post-Brexit. he's an incredibly intelligent bloke, has a lot of supporters within the party and knows what he's doing. the time for him to play up to his public image of "Knockabout funster" just to imporve his own celebrity is gone now. needs to start being the statesman he was always thought of having the potential to be years ago, get on with his job and stop worrying about just being "famous"

When Europe & in Particular Merkel start talking sense, especially about "migration" - (NOT to be confused with so called Refugees) then how can you take the whole corrupt deluded leaders of the EEC seriously. Boris would be useless as Prime Minister or the tough negotiations on Brexit, which is exactly why he is where he is. I certainly wouldn't want him as chancellor but dont dismiss his ability for one minute.

As was said of him by one of his own during the Referendum, "Boris is the life & soul of the party, but you wouldn't want him to drive you home at the end of the evening!"

I certainly wouldn't want him as chancellor but dont dismiss his ability for one minute. but stirring the fuckers up won't just piss off EU leaders. the whole world will see him "stirring" them up and we need to have good relations with many many other countries (as well as with the EU countries he's stirring up in the first place!) you stir people up too much and you lose friends all over the place as no-one else will want to deal with you. i'm certainly not dismissing his abilities at all, merely saying that whilst it's a good laugh seeing him act like an idiot on TV in the past, now is the time he needs to step up to the plate, show people he has the ability many think he does and display the fact he's more than just a buffoon who's good to have a giggle at (an act he's more than happily played up to over the years as it gave him good exposure).

I see here are as many sceptics away from football as there are in. Proof of the pudding will be in the eating. I'm no great Boris fan but he brings a bit of what politics needs away from the mundane Corbinesque/Brownesque days of labour - if they get in I really will be worried.
There can't have been any worse fuck ups than the previous load of shite under Blair or even the Wilson era when they thought a good idea to let all these asians in to help their votes and look where that's got us. You probably thought Enoch Powell was a fuck up, well who's laughing now
Lets wait and see how Boris goes on and how History pans out.

He doesn't do detail or have the grasp of situations apparently. Not the best attributes for Foreign Sec. I do wonder if Mays done this deliberately to fuck him up long term? After all she can just sack him in a reshuffle and say he ain't got what it takes, no harm done to her, bring back Osborne maybe?

Jesus......twist the argument away from what it is and turn it into an anti-Labour rant instead and then throw in a bit of casual racism to boot! Bravo sir, not easy to manage to shoehorn both of those into just 5 lines of a post that's supposed to be about Boris Johnson

After all she can just sack him in a reshuffle and say he ain't got what it takes, no harm done to her, bring back Osborne maybe? as has been said above, if Boris fucks up the buck stops with the PM who appointed him. she doesn't just hire him and then leave him to get on with it. what they (anyone in the cabinet) say/do will be heavily discussed, monitored, planned and most importantly, signed off by May before anything happens. to say him making a major fuck up (if he does, nothing to say he definitely will...well, then again this is Boris i suppose) is no harm to her just isn't true.

I don't see it that way. He was the figurehead of the Leave campaign, she's very cannily dumped the mess he's made in his lap, along with David Davis. Kind of you broke it, you mend it.
If he fucks up, she says I gave it to the Chief Brexiteer to sort out, he wasn't up to it, I've sacked him. No reflection on her at all, it's what most Brexiteers wanted - a cabinet where they got the Brexit orientated posts. She's got a ready made exit strategy if Boris fucks it up. In fact she might even hope he does and give her more ammunition to dump Brexit completely, she's already said no talks this year while they try to figure out what the hell to do next.
Quite incredible that there wasn't even a sniff of a plan! And we trust these people to 'run' the country for us. Laughable.

Very true, the difference being I can see the brexiteers making a pretty decent job of it.

Well, it's gone great so far! The absence of any plan at all not filling me with confidence.
I suppose that's why May said no talks on Brexit before 2017, gives us time to think about what the fuck we're going to do next!
