How ANYBODY can think of giving Pulis verbal abuse on his first return to the Brit is beyond me.
This guy deserves total respect from the fans of SCFC.
I would like to think we give him a standing ovation on his jog to the dugout.
I'm not joking either.

I think it's also the fact that we've lost Bego as well that's getting people concerned.
Let's be honest ... Bego and Ryan were the bedrock and organizers of the defence, pure and simple.

Sorry.... Mr Hudson takes some beating.
You have to put into context and the time.
Waddington performed a miracle with this signing and would be akin to Stoke signing Harry Kane today.
Anyway it's still a mega signing and let's hooe he has the same impact as Lord Huddy of Sheet Anchor.

Jesus wept..
If he has half the impact that Hudson had on the team then we are in for a treat.
Can you imagine Huddy on the pitch yesterday in place of Adam. He would have run riot.

Hughes played Adam further back today and MVG further forward. Didn't work. Dont like the look of this at all.

Butland Wooly MVG I'm worried. Think Hughes will be after Samba next week. Think Benteke will tear us apart

No doubt about it in my opinion...
If Shawcross is out for several weeks and Butland has a nervy start then we could be in an early struggle.
(Quickly changes knickers)
Statistics may tell us otherwise but Ryan is the rock on which the team is built.

What an absolute Dickish thing to say. And some people wonder why big names won't sign for us, knob! I'm sure our prospective signings are looking at this board right now and thinking mmmmmm should I sign for a club that slates some of its former players ;-) I'm sure they are ...

Manager says that Begovic is "tired"
FFS
I honestly think that him going to Chelsea will prove a good thing for us.
He's lost that little bit extra that makes a good keeper a great one.

Aaron Lennon would be better than any of these foreign fancy dans Being realistic matey We all know that we've got no chance with these foreign superstars ... if we signed Lennon tomorrow I would be chuffed to bits. One step at a time.

Just looking at them on SSN. looking at the players - listening to the manager , Notwithstanding the amazing blind spot they have as regards Our Ryan, you look at them - across the squad  - the players - the individuals - having seen them ourselves week in and out and you just know Sooner or later, somewhere along the line - and definitely when it counts they will be found outto my mind, Following England presently is simply  = a hiding to nothing and Believe it or not - I actually feel sorry for Wayne Rooney being so unfortunate as to have to 'front up' for this bunch of overrated and over-hyped,  losers (sad but true) Its another sad and lonely night in Warrington. England won again. England beat Slovenia (population 2 million) ..we will qualify and get blown away again by the tournament hardened TEAMS ...ie Germany,Spain, Italy etc. A lot of people are sick to death of the hype and attitude of the Wilshires, Rooneys and Sterlings of this world and couldn't give a toss about England at the monent. It's all becoming a bit Groundhog Day I'm afraid.

Now that the dust has settled from yesterday, was that the single best performance and result in our entire history? I can't think of a single performance that I've witnessed that could beat it, not even the 5-0 at Wembley. I saw some people who are quite a bit older than me saying the same sort of thing. Answer...No. Sorry...think we all getting a wee bit carried away. Several performances in the early Seventies better it (both for result, performance and significance ) I would say even the Bolton Semi-Final comes close.

I'd put a cheeky tender on him to bag 20 next season. If we play to his strengths, he stays healthy, and international appearances are kept to a minimum it'll be a pretty safe bet. When you troll the old posts the usual suspects were right about him. But as they say a prophet is never accepted in his own homeland .... Hard to believe some of the "experts" wrote him off after a few matches. Too right....our chief experts have slagged him off big-time. Yesterday he was fox in the box, blasing one in from 20 yards and then laying on a goal on a plate for crouchy. Superb.

There's no doubt about it. He is becoming a wanted man.
Especially after the performance yesterday.
Think he would laugh at the suggestion of West Ham actually.
Liverpool though ....????

"Likeable" Don't think that comes into a football analysis very often. You've been giving him stick all season..... I actually think he's improving all the time and could be our 15 goal striker next season. 1) That's bollocks 2) That's bollocks 3) Quite possible 1) Well Sir ...you will be the first football "pundit" who reckons "likeable" is a quality for a centre-forward. 2) You've been on his case most of the season ( and you know it) 3) Thank You.

Problem is... Chiefdelilah thinks he's wank. Therefore...he must be. Not what I actually said. I said he was likeable and had a lot of qualities but that I don't think he's the answer up front long term. Still don't. "Likeable" Don't think that comes into a football analysis very often. Stoke's best league season in living memory? Possibly. And with a team/squad on the up, I've never felt so optimistic about Stoke City's future. And all without spending hardly a sausage. Stoke City 2015 with Mark Hughes. Cool as fuck. Some of us were living in 74/75 ???? 10/10

Better than Hudson.? Don't be silly. Think you getting carried away in the moment. Good player...but not great. Best *since* Hudson I stand by that I'm allowed to get a bit carried away after our biggest ever prem win / biggest ever win v scousers / general end of season won last game good feeling-ness aren't I? Yes you are. Quite rightly so.

Unbelievably brilliant way to end the campaign and the points total and league position shout out, excellent season. Especially when you bear in mind we were battling through a major injury crisis for such a long chunk of it, havewn't had last year's most influential player, Wingie, and only had a couple of months of Bojan at the top of his game before we lost him. And yet... this might sound like a weird thing to say but I feel like we left up to 10 points out there - which I've never felt abnout a Stoke Prem season before, we've always got to our final figure without too much to spare. We should have won our mini-league and finished above Swansea, in truth, but when we've been good - there really really is no reason this isn't a Top 6 side, manager and football club. 9 from me for the season as a whole and it's only not a 10 because Sparky's rasing our horizons so high. Thankyou Mr Hughes for a yea I'll remember for a long long time. Good stuff sal You were one of the most anti Hughes mob if my memory serves right. I'm sure Sparky appreciates your comments.

I've said this before many times but I don't care how old and boring I am. First time I saw him I thought he's the best midfielder we've had since Hudson, and I still think that. I've thought it every time I've seen him play. Today, I wonder if he may actually be better than Hudson Better than Hudson.? Don't be silly. Think you getting carried away in the moment. Good player...but not great.

Agree.. Lou Macari is a top bloke who not only gave Nello his time and respect but brought our club out of the abyss. Without Lou macari God only knows where our club would have ended up. He will always be a club legend. Those days in the early-mid nineties were my happiest days as a stoke fan even as good as the last few years have been. With you on that matey. Even better than the seventies. Easter saturday at Rotherham still rates as my top Stoke day.
