Will hopefully get a decent reception followed by an even more enthusiastic Mark Hughes Barmy Army. I guess there will be a few ironic cheers of 'HOOF' throughout the game

Honeymoons over , he's the enemy . A few verses of " do you watch this every week " to the football purists at Albion

1st time he's come back the Brit as a manager I'm sure he will get a rapturous applause as he takes his seat at the dugout and show us as class fans again. Then we stuff his side 4-0 and give him some abuse

I should imagine there will be a few off here taking their wanking sock to that game.

He will be cheered and applauded when he appears by 28,000 people and rightly so. It will be the noisiest and most emotional reception anyone from another club has ever received at the Brit.
Once the game starts things might be a little bit different.

Surely he will be shown the respect he deserves as he walks out. I would expect a standing ovation from all sides of the ground
After that he'll be as fair game as any other opposition manager

The decent thing to do would be to unfurl a massive banner that proclaims our love for him & thanks him for all that he achieved at stoke then we could all hold hands & pray for a baggies victory.

I think he's had enough of this respect bollocks, LMH is our manager now, let's get behind him and a football team who are not universally reviled for the cack they serve up.

Like a few people have said, I will give him the applause he deserves before kick off, but after that anythings fair game as he is the opposition. Nothing to nasty though.

I wonder how many sly digs he and his negative sidekick have at Mark Hughes in the build up to the game ?

That's after a brief time at the club, wait until they have to put up with it for a season or so, and the predictable post match interviews. So relieved those days are gone.

Wasn't it the baggies that played the football the last time we played them?....they took the piss out of us.
I respect the job hes done for us but, there's no way I'm applauding him anymore
Hes had all the respect that was due.
Besides, I spent the majority of his reign nodding off

I can understand fans disliking TP's style of play but I dont understand how you can't stand the man who against all odds took a distinctly average team to a proven premier league side. He provided the perfect foundation for HUGHES to take us to the next level...but to dislike the bloke I find ridiculous..
