His kicking is the thing doing that. His foot injury seems to have set his kicking back considerably. He's in good company though, Banksy's kicking was often embarrassing.

His kicking is the thing doing that. Perhaps he should practice by kicking his defenders up the arse

His kicking is the thing doing that. Nah it's the thing that Southgate will be using. His kicking has been embarrassingly shite. Needs a lot of work.

Is thinking to himsen, this lot in front of me,could cost me becoming England's No.1.? Well because they are not a top 6 side and have never one the world cup (or Everton) they are. On the plus side he is getting lots of shots to save

If Butland played for one of the top 6 clubs he could kick the ball into his own net & still get picked for England.

Doubtful, given they never played in the same team. He had a good throw on him though, Banksy. I remember the first game Shilts played for us..midweek game..he kicked the ball into the oppositions penalty area. Couldn't believe it... Banksy couldn't kick it out of his own

In a way Butland is lucky to play for a club that has a tradition of treating injured players well. If he were injured for so long at a big club, they probably wouldn't have hesitated to bring in a new top price goalkeeper and kick him aside, and he wouldn't have been guaranteed the starting spot upon returning.

Just watching Schmeichel on Sky looking at a couple of Citeh's goals young Jack has a lot to learn especially about getting off.his.line and reading the game

I wonder if he’s watching Schmeichel having a go now on Monday night football about 2 of the goals we conceded on Saturday😄starting position wrong in his opinion

Hughes should get the big.Dane down for a couple of.sessions

I don't think it was a case of treating him well, it was a case of making do until he came back. Nearly cost us dear relying on Given and the one who went to Wigan on loan.

Marcofstoke could you please end your magnanimous and kind-hearted appraisal of Peter Schmeichel with the words "The red-nosed Danish c*nt", otherwise people will be confused as to which website they're on.

Has Jack been to Southgates office and seen Joe Hart on his knees, head bobbing furiously?
That's about the only thing he could see infront of him stopping him becoming first choice for England.

Is thinking to himsen, this lot in front of me,could cost me becoming England's No.1.? To be honest he is not good enough to play for Stoke at the moment. Our player of the season last year must be wondering how crap Butland has to be before he gets his place back. On current form, Grant is the better keeper. For me he could have done better with 3 of the Chelsea goals and let in 7 against City where he was not totally blameless. He has been pretty hopeless in the 1 against 1 situations, see the Morata goal where he seamlessly had an impossible angle to score from where all Butland had to do is stay on his feet and spread his body schmeichelesque, instead he seemed to dive off the pitch and out of the way of the ball. I think it was Sky that was doing the save percentages, for this season, of all the potential England keepers before the last round of internationals and he was bottom of that table too(I think there was about 5 names on the list). Not the player he was before his injury and for me is struggling, needs to concentrate on playing well for Stoke 1st and keeping his place in our team. I suspect this is why Southgate has had to stick with Hart as his 1st choice keeper, even though he knows he is shite
