Like Jose Mourinho,Pep Guardiola etc.without the Mega money they now get to spend, how do you think they would do?
Can't see us challenging for the Title, but every chance of winning a Cup or two.

It would be the same old that we have now, Mark Hughes is a top manager, without the money!

Worse if anything, I doubt Pep could get the Vale out of league 4 with their resources.
It's horses for courses and we have done well with our last 2 managers, one to get us to the promised land and establish us there and the other to evolve the football on offer.

Jose and pep are nothing but chequebook managers. Jose won the Champions League with Porto, he didn't do that by out spending everyone. I think Jose could manage at any level. However would do any better than Hughes? Maybe, suspect he would go ultra defensive.

Top managers manage top clubs untill they've failed enough times. Then they move on to the likes of us
or go to China or retire

With the squad we have, I suspect there will be few managers in the world who can significantly better what Hughes has achieved in his time here in Stoke. Managers like Klopp, Pep and Wenger would, if anything, do worse.

They would both change the work ethic and style of our team and it would be for the better. A lot better. People who are saying Guardiola wouldn't make a difference are seriously stupid.

Well after we had paid his ÂŁ21 million a year wages we would have lot less money for players about 20.1 million less, so yes he would make a difference

He's still a sulky plonker who can't play football, and Hughes won a lot more at that. Not only that, he couldn't engineer a win against Hughes with his team of multi million pound players!

Unfortunately it would improve us because "better" players would sign for him rather than the club. He leaves they leave.

I don't think Guardiola would do well here, we don't have the level of skilled or pacey players required to play his type of football. He would be trying to get players to do things they are not capable of. He is just a top two manager, not a criticism of his methods, good with those type of teams, but like Clough I think Mourinho would do well with lesser teams, much more pragmatic manager.

We'd be massively in the fucking red. I don't want to see our club spend like the reckless abandon of those two money managers. There was a stat that in all his years as manager- Jose has spent over a billion. In half that time, Guardiola is just a 100m shy of that. Guy lucked out in inheriting one of the best teams in football history, a Munich side on their absolute height, now manages the richest club in the world and will batter no eyelids at throwing stupid amounts of money to win the Premier League. He's a fucking fraud.

He's a fucking fraud. It always amazes me how little anyone mentions just how badly Pep did at Bayern. I mean, obviously he won the Bundesliga each season, but I would suggest almost any half decent manager could have won that title with the team he inherited. His abject failure in the Champions League due to his lack of a plan B with them seems barely a footnote when he is talked about by the press, and he then engineered a move to, as you say, the richest club in the world. I have absolutely no time whatsoever for the arrogant git, and his brand of football bores the heck out of me. I actually celebrated the day he left Bayern. I don't much care for Jose either, but at least he has the ability to change his teams tactics to suit rather than just playing 500 pretty but ultimately useless passes every game no matter what his players' skills happen to be. Rant over

Both Mourinho & Guardiola WOULD make a big difference, it would be silly to say they wouldn't!!! They're top managers with top reputations who know top players, and if we had the money to back them, those top players would want to play for them!!!
Well, some if not most would!!!
