JH Christ,no matter who they bring in,he still has to work with a load of fannies who can't play football, don't know how to defend don't know how to score, can't pass, and 2 keepers who spend most of the 90mins.picking the ball out of the net. If by some miracle we stayed up,we would still have to find a new manager for next season, you know JC would get it wrong yet again so it's just rinse and repeat for another season, until eventually JC oversees us in Div 1. If we stick with him, there is absolutely no chance we stay up. That is now clear. We need to do something to give ourselves a chance.

From what I’ve seen he is a charlatan. His tactics stink and he has some mehiw managed to make a shit team the worst in the league by a massive margin. Whether the players have downed tools or not, that’s on him he is supposed to “manage” them. Perhaps the worst managerial appointment we’ve ever made and that is saying something. He’s bordering on worse than Mad Nath and that’s some achievement.

He inherited a shit show and we all know it’s hard to get the players you want/need in January. We need to stick with him and trust he can save us and build for next season. He does need to find the right team and stick to it as all this tinkering isn’t working. I’m sure it’s bloody frustrating for the players who will be nervous of making mistakes amid fears of getting punted for the next game. I’m backing SS. My only concern is that next season he starts poorly and we go through the same new manager dance again in October. I can only repeat. 7 defeats in 8 games, there’s no chance he’ll save us now. Better he goes so we have a chance of not going down.

Seven defeats in eight games. With a shite squad, would like to see him with his own players and ploughing through lg 1. UTMP I’d rather he go and someone tries to keep us up so we’re not in league 1 in the first place.

Schumacher has had next to no chance to rescue us from the igmony of Div1 football. I hope JC will stick with him and let him develop a team that are at last worth watching 👀 Seven defeats in eight games.

Wish we could not have speculation / wish list threads that had titles that read like fact. Not a wishlist you moron, totally the opposite in fact, just what seems to be a realistic opinion, thats what a message board is for, debate Responding with insults is a poor look. You could have put a question mark at the end of the title. As it stands it reads like something that’s actually happened, which is annoying and poor message board etiquette. It’s the forum equivalent of clickbait.

The only win we've got in recent weeks/months/feels like years was the 1-0 v QPR when we set up in a TP-style solid defensive system and nicked a goal from a set piece. We did the same against Coventry and would have managed a point had Hoever not had a complete brain fart. For some reason, Schumacher went back to his horrific inverted full backs idea today and we're 0-2 down after half-an-hour. I keep saying it, but the only way you get points on the board with a shit squad is by being organised and grinding out enough 1-0 wins and 0-0 draws to get you over the line. If Schumacher can abandon all his principles and grind his way to safety then great, keep him and just cross your fingers that things will fall our way. If he isn't prepared to do that, then the only chance we have is sacking him and appointing someone who excels in doing that. Big Sam might, but there's no romance in that.I'd fear his heart wouldn't really be in it, and he'd only be here for the money and a few pints of wine. Pulis coming back carries an incredible redemptive narrative arc, which might sound daft, but sometimes football seems to follow these sort of Roy of the Rovers plotlines. A TP return would get the crowd more pumped up, and if we could recreate the bear pit for a final few games, it might be worth a crucial point or two to get us over the line. I don't care what he did at West Brom or Sheffield Wednesday: Pulis will always be associated with Stoke. If he comes in now, he keeps us up on organisation and vibes. Whilst I totally agree with all this and am huge Tone fan…the risk is he comes in, fails, and ruins his legacy here. I doubt he’d do it to be honest. But if anyone could keep us up, he could. Worth remembering also that when he first came here he made little impact until the first window he had in January. He couldn’t do much with what we had. Long time ago though.

His managerial appointments are laughable Yet on the main have been welcomed when they were appointed ! Only because the previous one had ended up being terrible.

and who would you suggest with absolute toss of players Pep. With Klop as No 2 and SAF as director of football And this lot would still be shit. They would but we don’t need to be good now, we just need to be fourth worst.

Unfortunately he’s out of his depth. Needs to go & hopefully a new manager can get us over the line. I fear we are going down though. and who would you suggest with absolute toss of players Someone with at least a modicum of experience of fighting relegation and dealing with awkward players.

Out of his depth as many have said for weeks.
100% now we are going down with him.
The QPR game but us a chance but we failed to take it.
We risk losing every game now.

So 4 of our attacking players were involved in a brawl, the good news is none are injured because despite throwing numerous punches, not one of them hit the target We need to get a cow onto the training ground, give the players a banjo and start from there. It’s that bad.

Well fought 0-0 at home against Coventry city Jesus fucking Christ Have you heard yourself Can we just agree that Shuey has shit it? Like every other manager before him, it only took a short amount of time. Now things are desperate, I don't actually think he has answers and has no experience of this kind of thing. I'm comparing his tenure to Lambert's until he proves me wrong. Effort and positive ideas but then nothing at the other end and if we fail to win a few more games, we will go down. He lacks the experience to get us out of this I fear. He's a manager for hungry, up and coming teams. We are not one of those.

What is it with Stoke managers and fully bottling their whole philosophy. That line up is a joke In fairness, his “philosophy” was causing repeated thrashings.

I'm sure he'll tell us the whole plan....just as soon as he works out what it is.
I think I'm just going to spend the duration of the game having a lie down in a dark corner, it's less stressful. I can then check the result afterwards and pretend not to care. Yes, that's MY whole plan.

What's funny is, we sign someone, they are given a first game almost immediately when they can barely have even met the rest of the team. When they don't set the league alight in the first ten minutes of that game, they are dismissed as being shite. I do sort of understand where this comes from, and it's because we have signed so much shite in the past few years. But sometimes you have to be a bit patient. At least wait until the second half before slagging them off

I’m unconvinced Schuey is the right man for the job but Gareth Ainsworth? FFS.
That article is just clickbait bollox.

Woke up with this tune in my head😀 “Woke up this morning feeling fine…” I was as nervous as ever last night, the worst for a long time. However this morning I feel good.😎 Hate this bloody game🤣😉 That was our biggest game in many years. It’s turned the season, because if we’d lost we were almost certainly down, whereas having won, I now think we will grind out enough points to stay up…just! It doesn’t change much in terms of the problems we have, but it does buy us some time.

The win was not thanks to him Tactically they were superior The manager deserves no credit for today’s 3 points from an unwatchable match The player he wanted and got in the January window Cundle was utterly useless - as he has been in all his appearances so far So by chance we got three points despite of the manager and his poor tactical choices and utterly shite substitutions and not thanks to him Well, being “tactically superior” didn’t do them much good, did it? They can console themselves next season in league one that they were tactically superior when Stoke beat them.

We did win.
Thus…with regret…8 from me.

Maybe Moyes will be available soon? We should have appointed him years ago. Gone are the days where we can recruit managers with premier league experience. I hope Schumacher stays, gets it together, avoids relegation and gets a summer to put his stamp on things. Trouble is we did that with AN.

All we need to do is bring TP back. It will all happen again and a new era of success will dawn.
