Well for me he’s never going to be a top championship striker but would be decent back up for aspiring teams. He runs the channels fairly well to be fair ( unlike the one that shall not be named) was quite lively too. Looked knackered on 60 minutes. Bit of an upgrade on ( the one who shall not be named cos I have an agenda) but I thought we should have sacrificed one of Cundle or Bae for a second striker. We don’t look a threat with one up top. Thought Baker would have been better playing closer to Ennis not sitting as deep as he did. Cundle does nowt.

Busy First touch could better good snap shot first half
Like vast majority of strikers would be better in a pair
Would start him on Saturday

Best of our extremely limited options

If he keeps playing like he has been, I think he’ll be a ten a season player in this league. If you add in that he works hard for the team off the ball, that’s okay.
Basically, he’s Lee Gregory pre-Stoke 😂

Thought he did well and played like he cared which is a start when you look at some of the performances of others this season. Keep him in he’s the best option we’ve got.

He works hard and I thought that he led the line ok.
I am not sure that he is going to be some kind of goal machine, but I think that his workrate and energy might be just what we need for the focal point of our attack right now.

Did very well for me and he covered more ground tonight than Campbell as all season

Best of of our extremely limited options The attacking midfielders SS like to play were no where near the front line tonight . Can’t keep playing with an isolated striker. I do get goosebumps when SS says his preferred system is attacking forwards and we see little of it, as it reminds me of someone’s diamond system that no one bought in to and didn’t understand.

Just need to play to his strengths. Junho fed him in behind twice. He got a shot away for the first and cut across the face of goal for the second.
And then we didn’t do it again….play to his strengths and he’ll score a lot of goals.

At least give him a chance.

I was pleased with him, he put in a shift and, as has been said, could be a 10 goals a season striker. Would like to see him in a two, but tonight wasn’t the right time for that. We had to be solid and ensure we didn’t collapse (the clean sheet is a massive boost). Baker was one of our best players and, ‘sitting deep’, was very important for the team set up.

Poor man's Jacob Brown. Reflects in the fee we've paid for him. He works hard enough but will probably make us a bit one dimensional if he leads the line regularly. Extremely poor first touch for this level.
Would be a decent impact sub.

Played well. Looks like he's got a striker's instinct, which is a step forward.

He looks OK, better than any of the other striker options on the books and like has been said he looks like he actually gives a shit.

Encouraging start

Just didn’t see any of our attacking midfielders get beyond him neither.

I think he'll get better and better as he gets fitter ( and if he can stay fit!).
He's barely played for months, but his work rate was great. Almost forgot what it was to have a striker work like that.
The poor first touch isn't a criticism that's been levelled at him previously, although I agree it's been in evidence so far here.

He did well. Lots of energy and willingness to work to get the ball back. Got a few shots away too.
Needs a partner up front with him though to benefit from his efforts.
Will be a decent player to keep us up i reckon.

My sense is this one won't work out. For 500k, it won't have to go that well to work out ok though. He already seems well worth that. If we stay up, job done He was just a late sticking plaster once the Mmaee thing obviously escalated and he realised Campbell wasn't the answer Next season, those 2 and Wes will be gone and Ennis probably will be the cover.
